Oh it definatly is a technology problem though. There well never be a federated Youtube for instance. Think about that the storage that Google uses since videos are not really deleted, and the bandwidth to server that much video. It doens’t really scale with federation.

They haven’t locked down yet and you can use local only. But I’ll tell you this so far they are the easiest printer to print with by a long shot. My brother has a K1 and he’s always fiddling with it before a print where my Bambi’s just print. It was also the first printer I gave my sister and her kids as it just works more then other printers. I know they have downsides god i hate how they are not that open but my god after decades of fiddling with printers it is nice that they just work. I want to print stuff not tweak printers.

It’s my outside device it allows things into my network might as well terminate the VPN there. I mean if my router is down I’m not getting to the VPN endpoint inside my network.

- Comment on Why do you hate AI? 5 weeks ago:
Don’t hate it but think it is ultimately wasting to many resources. And was over hyped we should have general AI now according to Sam Altman. If search was better I wouldn’t use AI but now I use it to replace search and yes it can be wrong but so are so many search results.

No critical thinking I guess. How the hell would a KVM flash your BIOS or more likely UEFI.

I’ve done the same but that request number is BS. Of course it keeps retrying cause it couldn’t get an answer. It does not mean if it could connect it would connect 21 million times.

Ad supported content is their bread and butter. More users use it then run a server and they make more off of it.
