Bro just invented a worse ENB that needs a second 3k GPU to run and is surprised to be called out for how shitty his invention is…

His boss is a former AI slop queen bitch at MS. Before that she headed Product engineering of facebookchat and insta DM as a VP. I don’t think I need to tell anyone how much more of a hellscape those became under her tenure.

Be aware the NV’s marketing is all over this, even in Lemmy.
One of the many aliases spamming positivity.

Digital Foundry has sold off for years now. They glaze over everything NV regardless of the quality. What killed it for me was in a now edited video reviewing Dying Light 2, in a mausoleaum, Alex Bataglia was glazing over an RTX image that was obviously black crushed and saying RTX was adding immense detail when the exact opposite was shown. That’s when I realized they were surely being paid to portray that version of events.
Evidence of said bugs on release.
I love it, they restores the original video from 3-2-2022, likely because they think We’d forget! That’s an absolute smoking gun of reading the marketing materials vs what’s in fact in front of you… Check at 5:20 hahahaha this is amazing. If you go to the same location on present day DL2 you can clearly see the scene presented by Alex was bugged to the wazoo!
Invidious link because fuck google!

100% this. The fuckers like to profit from what is essentially free labour (user gen content) while having no responsibility for it. Fuck them and Bethesda while we’re on it!

Nintendo is the Apple of gaming. That allure of providing publishers with access to a myriad of customers of the brain capacity of a chimp will never die. Oblivion Remaster runs like shit on modern hardware, now imagine it running on the switch2… It’ll run and look like utter shait.

1The problem with usanian interpretations is, for the most part, they bastardise the dish. It’s not more intricate or nutricious, they just add more sugar or fat. Case in point, deep dish…
Also, hamburgers are german, not usanian.

We had global foundries, among a myriad of other fabs. We have unions and labour laws, that’s bad for margins and CEO pay, we lost bleeding edge nodes due to corporate greed and US intervention.

“This persistent narrative in the media trying to talk consumers out of desktops as being viable options kind of sneakily ties into the greater “you will own nothing and you will be happy” narrative being pushed by big tech.
It’s really obvious and it needs to be consistently called out for what it is.”
