Buy secondhand, especially if you still want phones. Money goes to lower class (something like Facebook marketplace has no tax), no money to “less bad” competing companies, and you’ll get a much cheaper product which still has the “appleness” you want.

For Literally everything but food the government can supply everything without standing in line. You are right though, I believe SNAP in America is a largely efficient organisation that takes an already convenient system of food distribution and allows the person to buy things at a grocery store like everybody else. I guess in society it’s also important that SNAP or other beneficiaries feel normal as well.

No not UBI, but universal necessities to live. ie food water electricity housing healthcare and for all people not just artists.
UBI is a bandaid solution where money is taken from the government and given to corporations when governments should supply those necessities itself.

Linux will simply take over, eventually. It takes constant effort to keep a less efficient, costly, closed source software on every single device. Linux can already run %99+ of windows applications through wine, proton, steam, winboat and many other compatability layers, and with user friendly OS like linuxmint and ZorinOS making it easier to transition, within the next decade I reckon Linux will have %20+ of the marketshare. Every blunder microsoft makes like: advancing AI, cutting support for windows 10 linux wins by doing none of that.

Most Christians (I say most because I have met some good ones) only speak out on the bad things the bible says (eg anti gay) and do nothing on what Jesus says about rich people (“its harder for rich people to enter heaven than a camel through the eye of a needle” etc.) Jesus literally told so many parables of old rich men who couldn’t give up there wealth to worship Jesus, and for being the head of such a largely hateful group, actually didn’t say anything bad against gay people, abortion, trans people and was in fact welcoming of gentiles (Equivalent to immigrant or foreigners to his audience.)
