- Comment on Cities: Skylines creators Colossal Order are handing the series over to the Surviving The Aftermath devs 5 days ago:
The new one is a lot of fun and it runs better than it did on launch but it feels like its missing a ton of content that the first one had. I assume CO plans to slowly sell all that content back in the form LF DLC :/

It worked since I only realised it wasn't PugJesus when I got this far into your message lol

I don’t understand your comment at all. Are you saying it’s OP that sucks and not the US or are agreeing with OP?
- Comment on gabe³ half-life 3 confirmed 1 week ago:
The OP comment is annoying but your comment gives this vibe

Off topic but the NeXT logo is my favourite logo of all time. If I get a GabeCube I’m 100% putting a NeXT sticker on the front

- Comment on Are Memoirs and Autobiographies partly fictional? How the f do people remember so much detail? 2 weeks ago:
I’m guessing a lot of it sort of comes back to you as you’re writing your memoir. My grandparents both wrote one and it also helps that they had a lot of photos to jog their memories. They also grew up in Europe during WW2 so a lot of memories stood out to them 😅
- Comment on FBI Tries to Unmask Owner of Infamous Archive.is Site 2 weeks ago:
Purely anecdotal but they're the only news site that I've ever given my email to and I actually enjoy seeing their emails. They send entire (interesting) articles that can be read with no CSS/tracking images enabled and their monetisation is a small text ad that breaks a single couple of paragraphs.
I've never gotten an email from them that was begging for money or anything like that, just basically an RSS feed of interesting articles

Will Canadian snowbirds come back?
Unlikely. The USA was already quite hated in Canada for the arrogance and exceptionalism of its citizens but this whole thing has sort of sealed the deal for most people here

I'm not super familiar with Java, but does this mean Java edition is basically source available, or is it still compiled Java bytecode but with proper variable names?
- Comment on Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales isn’t worried about Elon Musk’s Grokipedia: ‘Not optimistic he will create anything very useful right now’ 3 weeks ago:
If you check it out, its not going to become that because it IS that. Its all AI rewritten articles from Wikipedia with Elon’s alt right biases applied. Some of the less political pages aren’t even really rewrites but just copy/pastes
- Comment on Why would a company force you to use a rental car instead of your own for a drive to the office/Christmas party? 3 weeks ago:
Not really rated but out of curiosity, can you not train or fly? 7 hours of driving (assuming x2 for there and back) seems like a lot for an office party
