  Bricked my first iPod back in the day using a sewing needle to fish lint out of the headphone jack. I must have nicked or bridged something inside because it started behaving so oddly as to be unusable before finally refusing to turn on at all.

  There’s actually a thin plastic membrane on the inside of most cans. It helps preserve the taste of the product. There’s a couple cool chemistry videos on YouTube where they use acids to dissolve the metal without damaging the plastic, leaving a weird bag of soda with a can lid.

  Kiwix will parse the en_all .zim file just fine… I’ve got and tested it at this point, the issue I was having is that I couldn’t get Kiwix’s own link to successfully download the file.

  Thank you so much for this. I have been trying to offline Wikipedia for months but the torrent links on the kiwix site are broken or something. They stall out for me in the first 10m everytime. The download from your link is working perfectly.
