The streak made me want to not log in days in a row because it highlighted how much time I had wasted on the site.
- Comment on Trump, in blue, sleeping at Pope Francis' funeral 2 days ago:
I would agree, except his “Sleepy Joe” attacks makes this go from relatable to being evidence of how much he sucks.

A place that has protected child abusers? Seems more like his place.

You could, but it would just be limited reach. There is no way to fight back using his own platform beyond just not going there.

They already crossed the border!
- Comment on Nintendo ‘warned to expect 145% tariff on Nintendo Switch 2’ 1 week ago:
When it was impossible to get the PS5 for the first year(s) I just gave up. I have a PS4 and not only is it good enough for me, I hardly play it.

Well you see…
"never let a good tragedy go to waste"

- Comment on Nintendo ‘warned to expect 145% tariff on Nintendo Switch 2’ 1 week ago:
I would assume so, yea. They had stopped pre-orders in the US only when the tariffs were announced.

They flipped month and day. If it was the year, you’re right.
- Comment on A funny thing about Americans and calendar dates 2 weeks ago:
I worked for a company that did their dates multiple ways and it was fucking impossible to know what date was what. It was super frustrating. I’d prefer this, but if you don’t, at least keep it consistent once you start.

It was an episode on The Orville. Probably Black Mirror too.

Thought crimes. Neat.
- Comment on Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version 2 weeks ago:
I always assumed they were shit since they’re the only Nintendo branded games that go on sale for more than 10% off without a bundle.
- Comment on Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version 2 weeks ago:
They made it apparently. But yea, I would never have guessed that if it wasn’t mentioned and I looked it up.

- Comment on Note: before tariffs 3 weeks ago:
This isn’t entirely true. I got Zelda TOTK for $40 on release. Kind of.
I bought Costco Nintendo gift cards which saves you $20 (if I remember right) and then bought the combo pack deal which included TOTK. It came out to getting every game for $40 each. Of course, the physical copy is a whole different story.

I haven’t pirated a game in over a decade, but…

“Oooh, retro!”
- Comment on Note: before tariffs 3 weeks ago:
A bit of an exaggeration. Your wallet speaks, sure. But I haven’t been to a lot of places in years, some even for decades and they’re still doing just fine. I didn’t buy any Nintendo console from the NES until I got a Wii paying half with a friend.

Brown people can still drink from the same fountains still, so no. /s
- Comment on Nintendo delays Switch 2 preorders over tariff concerns 3 weeks ago:
You’re not wrong. But OP just wrote what the title said and the article quickly clarifies its for the US.

And outside of coop couch, the switch pales in comparison on just about everything else.
Game prices: higher
Feel in hands? Awkward
Removable controllers: pop off or loosen during solo gameplay causing everything to pause in order to fix it, which can, but isn’t always, be a quick easy fix.
Plus, games like Animal Crossing that allow coop couch still demand individual switch consoles if you want the full experience for multiple people.

It should. We should have radically different lives today because of technology. But greed keeps us in the shit.
- Comment on YouTube removes 'gender identity' from hate speech policy 3 weeks ago:
Ooh, great to know. Thanks!
- Comment on YouTube removes 'gender identity' from hate speech policy 3 weeks ago:
No, hate speech is targeting someone for how they were born. (Skin color, sexual orientatio, gender identity, ect.) Reacting to someone saying stupid shit is not hate speech and dilutes the meaning of the word to use it that way.
- Comment on YouTube removes 'gender identity' from hate speech policy 3 weeks ago:
Seeing as you apparently need someone to look the word up for you.
Fascism : a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition
Let’s see.
- Christian nationalism is a huge part of Trumps support group
- Cops target brown people to attempt to deport them and Trump pardons them for ignoring court orders to stop (Joe Apaio)
- Trump continues to deport people based on skin and looks without due process. Ignoring courts telling him to stop.
- Trumps America first slogan is eerily similar to Hitlers slogan.
- Trump is starting to isolate the US from the rest of the world (but curiously not Russia)
But I do agree, they’re not Nazis, they’re MAGA. Their own brand of fascism.
- Comment on YouTube removes 'gender identity' from hate speech policy 3 weeks ago:
You are welcome to disagree and people are welcome to tell you off. That’s how speech works. Or should we tip to around disagreeing with you?
- Comment on YouTube removes 'gender identity' from hate speech policy 3 weeks ago:
Kind of. I think more than that YouTube has the traffic and people go where traffic is. Especially content creators. Many content creators have patreon accounts or similar to help pay the bills. And I rarely watch YouTube without an ad blocker, which I would assume is becoming more common. Can’t exactly pay creators with revenue that isn’t there.
