I actually agree with the sentiment of this post even though there are obvious exceptions. Your character doesn’t change when you’re drunk, just your inhibitions. So yeah, getting drunk reminds me I can be an asshole and probably I want to be more often than I do.
But you know what I’ve never done while even blackout drunk? I’ve never cheated on my wife. Because I don’t want to do that. I’ve had crazy hot women ask me to hook up and I was too drunk to even say, sorry I’m married. All I could get out was naww.
I’ve felt bad because I have seen devistation in the face of young women being blown off by an older dude but I was too drunk to express myself. I was also probably too drunk to be a great lover at that time, so maybe I did them a favor. But when you’re that drunk and the next morning all you can remember is destroying the ego of a skinny 25 year old, you know you didn’t imagine it.

It doesn’t help that there is way too much shitty, agenda-funded science today. And science we aren’t supposed to question. And science driven entirely by profit. Like, isn’t questioning science part of science? Of course the response is completely unreasonable too. All of my family are research scientists, and if a discovery doesn’t meet capitalistic goals, is it even a discovery at this point?

Between the cost of housing and the cost of food, and the fact wages aren’t that much better than they were 15 years ago - you’d think they would realize they are asking for the scraps people have left.
I’ve always just bought games when they’re on a good sale, I’ve never had a game pass type thing. But maybe they just want to squeeze a bit more out of their most loyal customers and they’re accepting that it is a dying model.

I know you’re not lying but I didn’t own a bong until '92.

For me the bong hits were more in the 90s, it was more pipes or joints before that. People talking on the phone all day was more of a '70s and '80s thing. Non-stop busy signal. And then later we added modems to the same line.

I hated the phone back then too.

Yo I love armadillos and I rarely see them, but this map shows them just barely where I live. I hope to see one here soon, I’m sure the first one I see will be on the road, but then hopefully alive soon too :)
- Comment on Necessary post procedure care for vasectomy 1 week ago:
There are very few with continuous testicular pain for up to a year, and that group usually also experiences reduced erection quality. That’s the 2%
The smaller 1% experience pain for the rest of their lives. And again, reduction or complete loss of the ability to have quality erections.
I’m somewhere in the middle of those two. Just over a year of nonstop pain, I had pretty much accepted I’d never live without it. But then it went away. It still comes back occasionally, but it isn’t nonstop. And my erections aren’t what they used to be, they vary from completely awful to maybe 90% at best. I got my vasectomy at 35.
There people who have to get it done a second time, but that wasn’t me. I’d rather not live anymore or never have sex again than do that again.
- Comment on Necessary post procedure care for vasectomy 1 week ago:
Whenever you have any procedure/surgery, they’ll give you percentage chances of certain side effects. It might be 90% had none,5% something minor, 2% really bad and 1% worse than you would want to imagine. Obviously the percentages and side effects vary based on what procedure they’re doing. But my vasectomy did not go well.

I know what you’re saying but actually not even once in my life. I did have a cup of coffee early yesterday morning and I rarely have caffeine but I had a big day at work and was going in on little sleep.

I got two hours last night and five the night before. I have maybe slept eight hours once in the last year, and it was after a being up for 36 hrs.

I have bought merch, but not everyone has merch for sale. Also I don’t have much extra cash, and they definitely get money from views too, it’s why I advocate other people giving them views also. Also, one of the biggest income drivers for them are sponsorships, and you have to have high view counts to attract sponsors.

I have a few YouTubers I like to support with views of all of their content. Because I want them to get the support, I watch their content on YouTube with no ad blockers.

My brother has a statistics degree in addition to CS. He’s working for a global medical research company processing all of the data generated by their research, and also helps with their billing software, all of the medical samples have to be stored and there are millions of samples that are billed monthly. He makes a little under $200k.

My 2020 Crosstrek with a manual is pretty good. The only things on the little touchscreen is the radio, backup camera, and android or apple for navigation. Also it isn’t integrated into the whole car so it can be replaced with an aftermarket unit. It has none of the blind spot monitoring, lane assist etc. It’s a lot of fun to drive on back roads, although it could use just a little more power.
