Because we have a holiday that is more or less Irish Pride Day (St. Patrick’s Day).
If there was a Lithuanian Pride Day, there’d probably be just as many Americans searching their ancestry for a Lithuanian connection.

I hear you on that, and your position makes much more sense now that you’ve explained their survey wasn’t asking the questions well or you misinterpreted them.
Mine had portions for my performance and the overall company’s performance separately, but I still received poor ratings (and written comments) for actions other people took that I had no control over, like giving your new dentist a bad rating because you broke a tooth skateboarding before your first visit with them.
“How are your teeth doing?” “Bad.”
Versus
“How was your dentist appointment today?” “Good” + “What is your dental history?” “Bad.”

I would asset your anecdote is definitely not proof positive of Tesla FSD being better than humans statistically, but it’s true that most public sentiment is inaccurate in assessing their FSD as either flawless or a murder-suicide mobile.
I’ve been behind the wheel when FSD was going to run a red light for me, twice in the same trip. It does perform impressively well most of the time, and if I could wave a magic wand, I’d put Tesla software in a more reputable brand’s car with LIDAR. Musk is a moron for going cameras only (and about fifty other things).

I would generally agree with that statement but it seems the spirit of this thread is solidly in opposition. It would be make/model dependent, and Tesla has demonstrated their lack of safety.
- Comment on glupi jebeni bot 3 weeks ago:
I simultaneously disagree with them considering a 9 a failure and your rating the agent less because of something outside of their control.
- Comment on glupi jebeni bot 3 weeks ago:
I don’t know how the survey question was phrased, only how you wrote your comment, which indicated you rated the agent poorly, not the entire support experience.

I once worked for a call center. Customers like you who rate an agent based on things the agent has no control over are the worst. Guaranteed they took employment action on them.

I’d be down if and when they do better than human drivers. Until then, there’s trains.

What do you mean by date for looks? I’d wager almost everyone thinks they date for more than just looks.

Clinton does seem like the kind of guy who would gladly “grab em by the pussy” if she was an adult, but Trump is obviously not so discerning.

- Comment on We gonna fight 5 weeks ago:
Ah okay. I get why Lemmy hides moderator actions, because some weirdos out there will harass and stalk a moderator IRL for banning them for spewing slurs everywhere and trying to post CSAM, but on the flip side it irritates me that I can’t avoid whatever communities that moderator who banned me moderates.
Even with zero chip on my shoulder about the ban, it’s clear that we don’t have anywhere near the same definition of “transphobic” and I’d like to save us both the time of butting heads about it. Win win, if I can proactively avoid participating in a community they preside over.

I was actually back and forth a bit with an admin among other folks, likely the one who nuked the thread and banned me.
Nobody was being rude, and the last thing I said was agreeing with them.
- Comment on We gonna fight 5 weeks ago:
I was recently banned for being “transphobic” for telling people what far right people believe about trans people, in the third person because I’m not far right nor have I ever been.
I’ve been pro-trans rights (AKA human rights) since I knew what the word “transgender” meant, which is going on twenty years or so now?
