Why would you make this comment? Did you think it added to the discussion?

The admins over there have some profoundly questionable views, which tends to push away reasonable people and attract bootlickers.
Such as?
Lots of fairly wild accusations being made throughout this thread that I’d love to read up on to avoid the “just trust me bro” axiom.

MFW they give the instigator a written warning and me termination for the same offense when I do that.

Your story doesn’t seem credible to me because my experience with MAGA is they tend to double down in a crisis.

Nobody bothered to make federal agents wearing masks illegal, and eventually they decided to do it.

- Comment on I'm not saying that I agree with it, but it's understandable. 1 month ago:
Apart from the comments explaining this is probably fake, I think the NJ hate that drove it comes from their populous, rich neighbors like NYC just doing a garden-(state-)variety “I hate poor/rural people.”
- Comment on Ok, boomer 1 month ago:
You’re being pedantic.
Kids these days 100% use similar shorthand, and often think proper capitalization, spelling, grammar, and punctuation are “too ChatGPT” or “aggressive.”
- Comment on Ok, boomer 1 month ago:
Like many meaningful pieces of language, its meaning has been diluted by those who increasingly do not understand it.

Oh yeah, banning guns is far outside our Overton window for sure. It’s a career killer for any politician. Just look at Beto O.

Democrats have been anti gun for decades and are now reaping the consequences, sadly.

I would buy this if it was a priest or Muhammad or something.
I’m not aware of Jesus being an Epstein peer but I know they are.

Do you think that every or most roads have the wrong speed limit? I sure don’t.
- Comment on Tesla reintroduces 'Mad Max' Full Self-Driving mode that breaks speed limits 1 month ago:
That I understand, but as the person I replied to said that I hope you read, people intentionally go 50 in the 45.
So the grace window you mention is irrelevant; you’d be doing 51 in the 45.
- Comment on Tesla reintroduces 'Mad Max' Full Self-Driving mode that breaks speed limits 1 month ago:
But then why don’t we all shoplift packs of gum every week?
Speeding is the one law everyone agrees is fun and acceptable to break a bit, despite being more dangerous than many actual crimes.
- Comment on Tesla reintroduces 'Mad Max' Full Self-Driving mode that breaks speed limits 1 month ago:
So dumb that society collectively agreed that 35 means 40, 40 means 45, 45 means 50, etc.

Yeah you definitely aren’t thinking with this one. Well I hope you aren’t anyway, given the result.
They said often wrong, not always. If they’d said always, you’d have a great point.
“Nazis are bad” is one of the exceptions that made them say “often” instead of “always.”
Does that make sense to you yet?
- Comment on And I won't delete them either for nostalgia reasons 2 months ago:
Do you know the difference between “often” and “always?”

Lmfao you think I’m Republican because I happen to know the First Amendment applies to photos of people in public?
Touch grass and enjoy your block.

You’re way too sensitive if you think I was rude first.
Look it up and feel embarrassed for being an asshole. Or don’t and remain ignorant. Either way, shut up so I don’t have to block you. People who drown in their own ignorance in the information age with web search a click away are so pathetic.

All this ad hominem over your lack of understanding of the First Amendment.
I hope you get over yourself one day.

Sorry to hear you feel that way. It can be tough to be confronted with something you’ve always felt was true but turns out to be false.

I guarantee something similar happened at some point in history.
Bluffing is one of the oldest defense strategies in the universe, and predators are often confused enough into retreat if prey does it.
Look at cats and dogs. Cats hiss and swat and the dog runs off.
If a raider encountered a target where even the women acted as though they were trained and ready for a fight, that raid is possibly twice as dangerous for them as the next village over, so they’d likely just move on.
