Well I guess that’s something you should consider before you kill a knight
- Comment on Just in time 1 week ago:
A pitchfork still could kill a knight in armor. And then you have a horse and armor

Option 3 would be a weird way of communism. Which still enforces my point. The reason why you fear for job safety is not the fault of technology.
- Comment on A cartoonist's review of AI art, by Matthew Inman 2 weeks ago:
Ok imagine this:
You are an construction worker. The job is hard but the pay is okay.
Now robots replace your job slowly. They are cheaper and more accurate.
You can now:
-
Complain about the robots stealing your job
-
Be happy that you don’t have to do the hard work anymore.
Many people will go for 1. But the actual issue is that the social security net isn’t existent or so weak that no job means no food.
That is not the fault of technology though.
Remember that when you vote and when politicians want to cut costs by reducing payments for the unemployed.

I know that art is an art of it’s own and a way to express human creativity.
However people also complained once the loom was invented. It took lots of jobs.
The job argument is usually a stupid one.
The lack of creativity and quality is of course a much better argument against AI art.
- Comment on Arizona ‘VPN’ searches surge amid Pornhub ban in state 2 weeks ago:
Well there is sth with hamsters.
However lots of the old porn websites are bought by pornhub. And via some weird business shit even nutaku is part of pornhub.
So you have an almost monopoly here.
All the other sites are much more shady and can not be used without an adblocker (I know everyone should already have one, but most people don’t)

While it is scientific people should provide the context that we don’t really understand brains fully yet and this doesn’t mean that his belief or conclusion is correct

If you take the German title “Ritter der Kokosnuss” and translate it back to english it is Knights of the the coconut.
Well because they use coconuts instead of horses…

Except for the dark side of the moon.
While it isn’t always dark there you won’t see the earth.

Megameter gigameter,
Next thing is one astronomical unit.
And then we are using light years.
Not very linear those last two.
And I am sure that gigameters would still be better than light years.

Yeah well the reason for the reduced species diversity is the human. I thought this was obvious.
- Comment on Shit's getting real 2 months ago:
So basically all honey you buy is made by the European honey bee, which is known for making lots of honey. Beekeepers place them in boxes and collect the honey. And basically once you have more than 20 hives you are commercially viable and that is what I mean with industrial
Asia has a different kind of bee that Beekeepers breed, but almost all of the rest of the world is using the same species.

Wich of course then makes sense to move pre mixed water with the weight of several tonnes around instead of adding a kilogram of chemicals to the tap water afterwards.
- Comment on Shit's getting real 2 months ago:
In Europe without industrial honey bees we would not have apples, crops amd stuff because they are almost solely responsible for the pollination.

We have a theory for expansion of the universe. It is called “the big bang theory”.
However according to the math our universe should slow down expanding, but we can observe it is speeding up. Solution? Dark Energy.
There are models that try to simulate the orbits and shit of things we can see. Now those models aren’t working however… Solution? Dark matter.
This is very run down concept of what dark matter and energy is. Basically shit we need for the math to work out to the observation we make.
However I don’t think we are inside a black hole. This would mean that instead of mostly nothing our universe would be cramped with matter…
