Oh of course go against the banks! Those two are not exclusive. You can hate the salesman and his company.

Fex works for most games now! This is amazing.
And now there are arm systems that are powerful enough to compete with consoles easily (consoles probably already using ARM?)

I’d like to differ. They are the ones selling you this slavery contract and probably don’t mention the impossible to deal with interest.
A bank worker who is not your enemy would suggest you to switch banks or give you a reasonable contract. Of course depending on bank they might lose their job over the last one.

Yesnt.
If the alternative to changing into a new file is to search through a 40k lines file that has no structure, then I rather go to a new file. As my train of thoughts is interrupted by the size of the file.
And a good compiler is capable of a lot these days. However if you are working on low end hardware that has to perform good and fast then you should of course think about the compiler.
In 99% of software that isn’t the case though
- Comment on monumentale 2 weeks ago:
Are those your arguments?
Train of thought is subjective
And the compiler doesn’t care

Well I guess that’s something you should consider before you kill a knight
- Comment on Just in time 4 weeks ago:
A pitchfork still could kill a knight in armor. And then you have a horse and armor

Option 3 would be a weird way of communism. Which still enforces my point. The reason why you fear for job safety is not the fault of technology.
- Comment on A cartoonist's review of AI art, by Matthew Inman 5 weeks ago:
Ok imagine this:
You are an construction worker. The job is hard but the pay is okay.
Now robots replace your job slowly. They are cheaper and more accurate.
You can now:
-
Complain about the robots stealing your job
-
Be happy that you don’t have to do the hard work anymore.
Many people will go for 1. But the actual issue is that the social security net isn’t existent or so weak that no job means no food.
That is not the fault of technology though.
Remember that when you vote and when politicians want to cut costs by reducing payments for the unemployed.

I know that art is an art of it’s own and a way to express human creativity.
However people also complained once the loom was invented. It took lots of jobs.
The job argument is usually a stupid one.
The lack of creativity and quality is of course a much better argument against AI art.
- Comment on Arizona ‘VPN’ searches surge amid Pornhub ban in state 5 weeks ago:
Well there is sth with hamsters.
However lots of the old porn websites are bought by pornhub. And via some weird business shit even nutaku is part of pornhub.
So you have an almost monopoly here.
All the other sites are much more shady and can not be used without an adblocker (I know everyone should already have one, but most people don’t)

Megameter gigameter,
Next thing is one astronomical unit.
And then we are using light years.
Not very linear those last two.
And I am sure that gigameters would still be better than light years.

So basically all honey you buy is made by the European honey bee, which is known for making lots of honey. Beekeepers place them in boxes and collect the honey. And basically once you have more than 20 hives you are commercially viable and that is what I mean with industrial
Asia has a different kind of bee that Beekeepers breed, but almost all of the rest of the world is using the same species.
