- Comment on How can I improve my handwriting? 4 months ago:
In my personal experience the most of the time I've hand written stuff that needs to be graded are mid term and final exams. 90% of the time are digitally typed essays and research papers. I've only written in cursive but my profs are mostly older and I've never got any complaints about it. Also most profs out there are trying to give you as much help as possible. They're not out there to try and fail you. Most of them anyway lol.
I've also never used laptops in class and have only taken notes by hand. Maybe practice like that would help?

The amazing part for me is running into a stranger and we have to communicate with the limited system in game. Outside of that it's a competent "walking simulator" with decent puzzles and great art. If that's not your thing I get it.
- Comment on Not only is this not how anyone writes, I do not understand why anyone would want to read anything that sounds anything like this 5 months ago:
Looks like it mysteriously and, more importantly, seamlessly fit in his home garage as well.

I remember them putting ads on the billboards in Battlefield 2142 way back when.

Ooh, is this why they're clamping down the emulators even more than before? Showing Yuzu when they first revealed the Steam Deck definitely raised some eyebrows lol

They cannot train 100k people to work towards a common goal with minimal coordination and not expect something like this
- Comment on The “Require videogame publishers to keep games they have sold in a working state” petition just got a response. 6 months ago:
It was never to demand devs to support indefinitely. It's to allow the game to function in some capacity after devs stopped supporting them. It can be letting users host their own private/community servers, and offline mode, or something similar.

I'm best buds with my sleep paralysis demon now. It's not comfortable but I no longer panic when I enter sleep paralysis.

the Chinese call both tornados and hurricanes typhoons
Which dialect? I call typhoon 颱風 and tornado 龍捲風
- Comment on Three people ‘sucked out’ of apartments as they slept by typhoon-like winds in China 7 months ago:
Lived though quite a few typhoons but I've never heard anything like this happened before. What a terrible way to go.
- Comment on Moon Standard Time? Nasa to create lunar-centric time reference system 7 months ago:
I wonder how they'll end up implementing it. If it's going to forever drift apart from Earth time/UTC it feels problematic as well.

- Comment on Short games with lots of replay value? 7 months ago:
Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is the definition of tough but fair for me. It's a turn based game though, so not much controls to speak of. In fact because it traces it's lineage back to the 90s it's kind of clunky. But since it's turn based you can pick up and drop any time you want. Depending on my luck and skills a run lasts from 5 seconds (lol) to an hour ish.

- Comment on Want a 3D printer in New York? Get ready for fingerprinting and a 15 day wait 8 months ago:
The ones used in Myanmar are variants of the FGC-9 which indeed contain metal parts.
Currently the most common method of creating 3D printed guns are buying parts kit and printing the reciver (housing) for it. But the FGC-9 is specifically designed to be able to be made without any controlled parts, including the barrel. Any metal parts used can be bought in a hardware store.
