Dedication is not a measure of intelligence.
A dedicated dumbass is still a dumbass
- Comment on Audible unveils plans to use AI voices to narrate audiobooks 5 days ago:
I think an Amazon owned company would actually default to Alexa, who’s voice is equally terrible. Why pay more to develop a better voice?
- Comment on Tesla Reportedly Has $800 Million Worth of Cybertrucks That Nobody Wants 5 days ago:
They’re only worth what someone would be willing to pay for them. What’s the scrap value on a cybertruck?
- Comment on Mario Kart 64 got finally decompiled! 5 days ago:
But the driving is terrible and so is the AI and so are the tracks
That’s my opinion of Wii, but Wii also introduced bikes which have also stained each subsequent entry so it gets my vote for the worst in the series.
- Comment on Mario Kart 64 got finally decompiled! 6 days ago:
Wii, Super Circuit, and 7 exist, so your argument doesn’t hold water.
Sure it isn’t Double Dash, but it’s definitely not the worst.
- Comment on Recommendations for "girly" games? 2 weeks ago:
Unpacking, it’s a relaxing puzzle game with some great environmental storytelling. Gameplay amounts to unpacking after various times moving house throughout a woman’s life. It’s really interesting to see how the different stages of her life are shown by the different living situations she moves into.

I played that as well. Very cozy and relaxing.

- Comment on Do you use your blinker in a car? 5 weeks ago:
Of course I do. My goal while driving is to be predictable so I can minimize the chances of causing an accident.

Why wouldn’t the button increase emotional intelligence as well? Losing empathy as you learn more doesn’t sound smart to me.

They aren’t publicly traded so put those fears to rest until Gaben dies (may that be FAR in the future), then we have to hope his successor has a similar mindset.

Wow you really have no real understanding of what you’re talking about about. You’re just spouting confident nonsense with not real-world backing. I’m not even going to argue with you I’ll just link this: wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effect

Calling Canada and the UK “super liberal” is wild.
Japan and Korea are not the ones growing in Asia. That would be China, another target of Trump’s trade war. Our future will be under losing to China.
- Comment on What was your favorite shareware game? 2 months ago:
I spent a lot of time playing Raptor: Call of the Shadows, a vertically-scrolling shooter with an upgrade system.
There was also Rise of the Triad, a pretty decent Doom-clone
- Comment on Recommend me a steam deck game 2 months ago:
I would recommend against Multiversus only because it’s getting shut down in a couple months. Might be fun until then, though

RVX Music works quite well for me on Android
- Comment on Those YouTube ads everyone hates made $10.4 billion in just three months 3 months ago:
RVX, a fork of ReVanced, works well on Android. You’ll have to side load it yourself, but it’s got very good ad blocking and sponsor block if you don’t want to hear shilling during a video.
No idea for iPhone.
- Comment on Tesla pulls out all the stops as Cybertruck sales grind to a halt 3 months ago:
Both shitty visions of the future. Well the movie for Running Man took place 6-8 years ago, and the book takes place this year which could count as “future” since we’re only in February.

I wish journalist would stop calling this PS 1 Pontiac Aztek “futuristic”; it just highlights how shitty our future is going to be.

And, importantly, only took out their target and didn’t turn it into a mass shooting with a bunch of innocent bystanders. Just took out one bastard and disappeared.
