Pretty sure you can record and photograph people from public spaces without seeking consent here (UK) because there’s no reasonable expectation of privacy.

It does just kinda work

UE5 can do some very neat things but it’s overkill for most games

Tbh with FFXIV you only have to buy the 2? Most recent expacs and you can play free up to 70/100 and the accompanying story stuff without. It doesn’t do the limited time free trial anymore.

It’s because the regulatory bodies are captured by the interests of the fossil fuel companies

Enough wind redirection could affect weather patterns. But we won’t run out of wind, spoiler but wind power is just indirect solar power.

- Comment on 'Borderlands 4 is a premium game made for premium gamers' is Randy Pitchford's tone deaf retort to the performance backlash: 'If you're trying to drive a monster truck with a leaf blower's motor, you're going to be disappointed' 3 weeks ago:
My complaint about borderlands 3 was the cringe main antagonists. Like I’m happily shooting stuff and they hop in with painfully mediocre snippets of whatever they’re supposed to be doing. Also they killed off one of the best characters. The gunplay felt nice, the music and graphics were good. I didn’t have any real technical issues.

Here in the UK you can get some home-bake pastry tubes that look identical to that and you also twist open them. Things like a roll of proto-pan au chocolat or the big raw cinnamon roll. You just slice them up and cook

Wellp, I have started playing the first silksong again finally after getting stuck in the mantis boss thing. Also I bought this one…
- Comment on Big Surprise—Nobody Wants 8K TVs 4 weeks ago:
3070 is enough for most stuff at 4k 60 medium. Not all the newer stuff though.
- Comment on Big Surprise—Nobody Wants 8K TVs 4 weeks ago:
4k 25" was worth it for me but I only spent about £140 on it so YMMV it’s nice but not essential and after 1080p the extra pixels only add so much
- Comment on Big Surprise—Nobody Wants 8K TVs 4 weeks ago:
4k is nice but at 1440p the diminishing returns are pretty obvious doubt 8k is somehow going to change that

Honestly on the bus or train it’s kinda nice to just be in a bubble. Obviously you still need to be aware to some degree but I remember my college bus trips being a nice isolated time most days.

- Comment on Must secure the castle 4 months ago:
Reminds me of when I was doing driving practice with my mum before I got my license, turned off the main road onto what I thought was just a small residential street and quickly realised it was a shared driveway type thing for maybe 4 houses. Anyway this guy is watching the whole time from his garage workshop thing and halfway through me turning to leave he knocks on the window and basically says I can’t go in there and I should turn around in the space between the road and the outer edge of the pavement. I didn’t think I had enough room to do that safely and he cast doubts on my fitness to drive. I would have already left by then. Anyway I passed like a month later. I wasn’t on his part of that drive and had no plans of ever going there again. If he didn’t want people occasionally turning onto that spot he shouldn’t have chosen a house by the main road. Actual clown, I’m still annoyed.

For drawing/painting yeah, krita is comparable, especially if you set the presets to be similar to ps. I haven’t tried krita with photo editing much though
