- Comment on How Airbnb accidentally screwed the US housing market and made $100 billion 1 month ago:
Theyd part out a hous into multiple rooms. I stayed at one airbnb that were 3 stories and each one was another airbnb, with a kitchen on the main level that had to be shared. No one used it for the 3 days i was there, but still.
- Comment on Is there a "canvas" of the universe? Do we even know? Would a canvas follow the same laws as the paint? 1 month ago:
Well if you think of our universe as a flat image, you could technically picture it as an ever expanding “canvas” ,like the reddit and lemmy thing, and as all the other planets and stars change and move so does that magical canvas of the universe.

- Comment on Tennessee legislature passes bill banning marriage between first cousins 2 months ago:
Well the bill originally had an exception for all the supposed lesbien cousins. The governor or someone got to get all upset and strike part of the bill. Then go on talk about how bad the gays cousins were for wanting the exception.
- Comment on Judge allows Roblox illegal gambling suit to proceed 2 months ago:
If this was second life where it was a lot of adults or older teenagers then i think it would be fine. (Is second life still a thing??)
But roblox is mostly pretty young kids, i dont think its healthy for ten to thirteenth year olds to be fake gambling. Itll only lead into problems when they’re older.
- Comment on New York inmates are suing to watch the solar eclipse after state orders prisons locked down 2 months ago:
I never said they should, i said thats a whole other
mannermatter. I actually think forcing a lock down in order to prevent them from hurting themselves is the right decision. Its not about trusting adults to know better, there are people in prision who’ve been there for decades and are probably not privy to the type of random knowledge people are more accustomed too now adays. And i dont think they would listen if the warden or someone just let them know if they stared at up the sun it could damage their eyes.I also dont know how bad it truely is for your eyes, i learned about the danger when the last major eclipse happened years ago, but before then i was unaware. Inmates depend on tax payer money to provide health care and i dont think taking needless risks is something they should be doing.
Best case scenario though, if an organization were to donate the darkening glasses where they can safely enjoy it that would benefit everyone.
- Comment on New York inmates are suing to watch the solar eclipse after state orders prisons locked down 2 months ago:
No, it makes sense if they are doing a lock down in order to prevent people from damaging their eyes (they probably arent). Provide equipment to view it safely is another manner. But to just outright say naw let them go fuck up their eyes, and definitely don’t provide glasses that way its more likely they fuck up their eyes is just cruel. Whats wrong with you man. Jesus would not be proud of you.

Describing musk bleeding out is like porn to you? I mean whatever floats your boat, i guess. I personally might call it an early christmas gift if it were to happen though.
- Comment on Anime newbie looking for suggestions 2 months ago:
As much as i agree anime is Japanese made, anime sites have decided to allow Chinese and Korean anime for whatever reason. Which is unfair to avatar.
I think avatar shouldve just been grandfathered into the anime community. I believe most anime lovers would agree it is definitely an american made anime. Is that a slippery slope to other american shows being grouped in? I think not, because there are no other beloved american animes other than avatar.

- Comment on Dragon’s Dogma 2 modders are finding ways around the otherwise acclaimed RPG's controversial microtransactions 2 months ago:
The more I read, the more im coming to the conclusion the mtx are pointless trash for people to sink money into that has no real impact on the game. Like i just dont understand why people are in such a fit. Maybe if it were ten years ago sure, but companies have already saw they can make so much more money by simply giving a way for people to waste money. Shouldnt everyone be happy with a fun game, and encourage the more well off to fund the game through pointless shit that way theres more resources that can go into another fun game or exciting dlc.

Ive defended the paid items that were acquirable in game, but i missed this onw. Is the paid camping kit just not in the game at all unless you buy it? Because if so that is definitely an issue.

I think that site was unddit, but yes those were posted then later deleted. Im talking about just typing out a post or comment and never posting just simply backing out of the page or hitting cancel. Im not just if any of that is stored on the site or just local.
- Comment on Reddit started doing what they always wanted to do, sell user content to AI. 4 months ago:
What if reddit also kept all deleted comments and post, im sure there are shit loads of things people type out just to delete, thinking all the while it’ll never see the light of day.
- Comment on Why is living with your parents considered a bad thing? 4 months ago:

I was sitting writing in a book when the park ranger came by, he asked me to move my car and as soon as i took it off the hand brake it rolled backwards. So i asked him to call the police to help deal with the situation. So i really brought it upon myself but i thought they would help pull a car out from the water? But instead they let it sink when a simple whinch wouldve gotten it out. So yeah its my fault
- Comment on Why is living with your parents considered a bad thing? 4 months ago:
Even thinking that you didnt mean anything by it, it still sounded like you did. So i apologize
- Comment on Why is living with your parents considered a bad thing? 4 months ago:
Naw i fucked myself over. I soberly parked on a boat ramp. Then drank like 5 shots, or something but i consumed enough to get me drunk on police scales. When the park ranger said i had to leave i went back in the drivers seat and tried to drive off, but i couldnt because i i waited to long by the river and my back wheels starting turing and losing traction. So i asked the park ranger to call the cops to help and i was charged instead assisted

- Comment on Why is living with your parents considered a bad thing? 4 months ago:
I shouldnt i know, but thinking about all that really bothered me. And then i see not even 5 minutes later a downvote. Im drunk right now so it honestly bothered me. Im not sure what else to say.

So i started living back with my mom when i was in my late 20s, i lost a 70k job due to bullshit. Then i got back to working hoping to move out… and… covid hit… i was laid off after a year, and i just havent got back to working. I live with my mom who is disabled and in very bad health over conditions i dont know how to spell. Then i got a dui after my old boss died, i wasnt even driving just sitting in the car drunk by a lake. So now i cant drive for another couple years and am finding it hard to work some whete close that i can get a ride that also doesnt make me be around a shit ton of people who i might get sick from and then bring it back to my mother.
No i didnt answer your question, but i tried to outline the why of someone living back with their parents.
- Comment on How do conspiracy theorists get all of their coveted secret government information if it's meant to be hidden and the government would never hand it over? 4 months ago:
All human thoughts are collected into a sorta zeitgeist that we all unknowingly tap into. Take for example- when you have a truely original idea, that is then uploaded to the collective human zeitgeist, which thus allows other humans to be able to tap into and have the exact same idea. Some people know how to dive deep and collect this information, and spread it out into the public sphere of knowledge.
