That movie is set way in the future and the baby looks like both of the mothers. I don’t think it was an adoption, I think the assumption is that they somehow figured out a way to have 2 women have a baby together with both of their DNA in the future. I watched it with my kid n kinda thought huh, that’s a bit of an odd choice, but my kids didn’t ask, and frankly I didn’t care. The movie was shit though, and this tiny, weird bit of plot was irrelevant to it sucking. The decision to replace the voice actor for Buzz was super annoying. He just sounded wrong and the movie was fucking space groundhog day but worse.

This is actually a trend now. Gen Z is about it, and judges the old heads for ankle sock

I still use my old aim account as my spam email email address. Any business asks for my email, they get that one. There’s like 5,000 unread emails in there. It keeps my actual email uncluttered and not full of spam. It’ll be a sad day when they close down those servers, then I’ll have to to dust off the ole Hotmail account lol

I once tried to book on their site, and the website froze and it wouldn’t go through every time I tried to pay. I checked my email multiple times and checked my credit card statement. Nothing went through. I went and booked elsewhere. 12 hours later, I get a confirmation email from them. I tried to cancel and it wanted to charge me $100 cancelation fee. I had to call to get it resolved. 45 minute wait time. Thankfully they took care of it, but it was a huge headache caused by their shitty system.

Yeah, the other day, I left it charging in the car while I was doing chores. I came out and the phone was scalding hot. I chalked it up at the time to it being hot in the car, and the fact probably shouldn’t have been charging at that temp. Now I’m tripping on if this thing is a time bomb.

PSA, get chopped chilis on your burger next time if you like spicy food. It’s a game changer. Whole grilled onion is also king shit.

Haven’t seen the Weinermobile in like 20 years. Is that still a thing?
- Comment on Ice cream trucks still around? 4 weeks ago:
Mister Softee has an app to track the truck’s whereabouts. I have absolutely used it to find his ass and hunt him down. Ice cream trucks have evolved into the 21st century. No one has decent soft serve anymore in my area. DQ closed like 5 years ago, and this dude is just driving around potentially bringing it to your door. Mister softee is the goat.

I stayed at a “hotel” in Denver a few years ago. It was advertised as a hotel on Hotels.com, and we booked because we thought it was cool that the unit had a full kitchen and was like a condo. We thought it would be the best of both worlds, hotel amenities and Airbnb style room. We get there, and it’s basically an apartment building that they’ve turned into a hotel. They have no staff on site, and I had to download an app to check in and do a face scan. Super not privacy friendly. Then one day we stayed in and we’re having a few drinks and conversing. This was 5 guys. We weren’t being beligerant or loud, just talking. It was maybe 4 pm, and not quiet hours. I get a text saying there was a noise complaint. Then we bailed and got another text saying there was a 2nd noise complaint. They threatened us with a $500 fee the 2nd time. I told them we were no longer in the room, so it wasn’t us. We later found what we assumed was a bug device that notified them if we went over a certain decibel level.
I never got charged, but I was ready to fight tooth and nail with my credit card company if they did. It was very weird, and I would never book with that company again.

I feel like phones have just gotten worse over time. My 1st smartphones had so many more cool features like rf blasters, removable batteries, headphone jacks, expandable storage, etc. now we force everything to the cloud, accelerate e waste with irreparable Bluetooth everything, but oooh it has a fancier camera!

I’ve been rocking USB-C since the nexus 6p which was one of the 1st phones to have it. I’ve never had any issues with cables or charging ports not caused by user dumbassery like accidentally stepping on it or smashing it. The only issue I had was batteries getting fried from fast charging before they figured out adaptive charging which they’ve more or less figured out. The design is pretty solid imo and it’s very versatile. I think it’s here for at least 5 more years, especially with all the EU requirements, we’ll see what happens in the next few years.

They can come knocking all they want, but you are not legally required as an heir to pay that debt. Surely there are a few exceptions like mortgage payments (if u wanna keep the house), but personal debts like credit cards? Not your problem.
