I get it, but it’s what all our ovens and recipes say here. Even if there’s a way to change it on the oven, the recipes are still going to be in F, and then you’re going to have to do a bunch of conversions, so doesn’t make much sense here.

Frozen broccoli on baking sheet. Toss with olive oil and seasoning ( I like to use Montreal steak)
425° for 25 minutes
Stir halfway through cooking. It’s easy, no smell, and easy to remember bc 425 twice. (425 ° for 25 minutes)

Hell, I still use VGA for my work computer. I have the display port connected to the gaming laptop, and VGA connected to the work CPU. (My monitors are old, and I don’t care)

I make well under market for my position, but I also am full remote and get to spend almost every hour that my kids are not in school with them which is pretty huge. Maybe when they are a little older I’ll chase the bag, but this job is way too convenient.

Dabs and concentrates are no joke. Probably not the best idea for adolescents who still have a developing brain.

- Comment on Uber Eats undercover: Delivering your food for $1.74 an hour 1 month ago:
My buddy who was a driver at the time would try to convince the Uber drivers in the lot at the airport and they all believed the propaganda from TV and radio that was clearly paid for by Lyft and Uber. The majority of the American public are just not intelligent.
- Comment on Uber Eats undercover: Delivering your food for $1.74 an hour 1 month ago:
I only use eats if there’s a solid promo, and then I pick up the food myself. They don’t get the fee, I don’t have to tip, and I get the deal. A lot of time the price per item is cheaper on pickup too. Their fees are absolutely ridiculous, and they are just a middleman. They for sure are losing money on me.
- Comment on Poll reveals the amount of Brits who would take weight-loss jabs for free on NHS 3 months ago:
As someone who has kids, the only time I can get my workout in is after they’re asleep (or before they wake up, but I’m NOT a morning person). I set up a gym in my garage because at that point, driving to a gym and back adds too much time so close to bedtime and also I’d feel weird about leaving my wife and kids alone at night.
After Covid, I got really out of shape, and one day, I just couldn’t take it anymore and took some steps to getting back into a routine. I have a bench press I got off nextdoor for cheap, adjustable dumbbells (not so cheap but also got off nextdoor practically new for much cheaper than retail) and a treadmill I got for free. I got some gym flooring mats from Ross for ~$60. All in all maybe a $500-$600 investment. It’s been well worth it though. I feel much better and for the first time in a long time, I can stand to look at myself in the mirror. Finding the time especially as a parent is never easy, but you’ve gotta find something that works for you. We need to move our bodies. We weren’t meant to sit around all day, and frankly, I don’t think injecting yourself with these drugs is the answer to weight gain.

Daily reminder, you have freedom of speech in that the government won’t do anything about your speech, but you don’t have freedom from speech. Going out and protesting your employer and their business relationships can and will get you fired, no matter how just the cause.

- Comment on Men Harassed A Woman In A Driverless Waymo, Trapping Her In Traffic 4 months ago:
If you’re a female, you are going to get out of the car to get in the street and hang out with these 2 males harassing you on the street? She’s definitely safer in the car. The 2 males are keeping her prisoner in the car against her will. the car cannot leave, and she cannot get out.

Definitely a false imprisonment charge though
