I think a bunch of municipalities got butt hurt at them for routing traffic through their cities. It definitely used to offer way better and more alternatives. Now it’s absolute shit and I have to eyeball it all the time to see if there’s a better route.

I miss the good old days where u could click and drag the line to a route that looked better and see if it actually would work.
- Comment on Tesla recalls most Cybertrucks in US over windshield wiper, exterior trim issues 5 days ago:
They literally can’t sell them in Europe because of the angles are too dangerous for pedestrians. It’s only legal in the good old US of A because we didn’t bother having safety regulations for pedestrians. The edge is literally a knife that will slice a person on impact. Absolutely moronic vehicle.

Get a skateboard and go to your local skate park. Walk up to some kids and say how do you do fellow kids? What are we listening to today?

WTF were they doing that took 17 years to restore?
- Comment on Remember when the body washes contained literal micro plastics and were advertised as such? 1 month ago:
I totally thought those were some kind of thing that would dissolve at first. I thankfully just didn’t like those body washes anyway, but I was super disappointed when I found out those ‘exfoliating beads’ were just micro plastic. What evil fuck ok’d that decision?
- Comment on Screw Uber! 1 month ago:
I have a friend that drives Uber. Literally high every time he works. He’s one of those stoners that claims he’s actually a better driver when high. You absolutely don’t know if the person driving you is under the influence. He vapes or does edibles, so there’s no order, and he’s always wearing sunglasses.

I wish I could ban AI “art” and weird bikini clad AI thots popping up as suggested items in my feeds on social media. I have the feeling AI is going to ruin the web due to the sheer volume of garbage it plasters all over it.

My neighbor had a Saturn, and like literally no one else I knew did. Having said that, it was bad ass, and the graphics were unreal for the time period. Iirc it was out before N64, and had proper 3d graphics. It’s weird that it never succeeded. Was it just super expensive or what?

I didn’t brick mine, but got very close to it. Was able to run some command prompts to it while it was giving me a blank screen and managed to factory reset/ get it to where I wanted. Man was I worried I just turned my $1,000.00 phone into a paperweight. After that near miss, I gave up on rooting/ custom roms even though I enjoyed tinkering with them. Maybe I should give it another go.

- Comment on Mountain lion kills California man in state’s first fatal attack in 20 years 3 months ago:
They say with mountain lions, you want to make yourself big; make loud noises, and not flee. You want to show them that you are not an easy meal and will fight back. They say if you flee, they’ll view you as prey and chase you down. I’d imagine unknowingly riding a bike past a hunting mountain lion could have disastrous results.

I’m 36, and took a few years off college before getting my degree. I’m basically a part of this group.
Graduated in 2011 in a terrible economy.
Interview against people with 10 years experience for entry level roles, get rejected multiple times,
Have to work retail 2 more years after college til I finally get a desk job with shit pay
Do that 2 years til I get another slightly better job with slightly less shit pay
Do that a few years, get promoted, start making real money. Guess what? Now houses are double what they were 5 years ago
Ok well I guess I’ll just save
Hey here’s a once in a lifetime pandemic
Rates are low, and houses slightly more affordable, but who tf knows if you’re going to be employed in a year. Maybe I’ll wait that out n see
Now houses more expensive because every boomer and corporation wanted to buy investment homes at those rates.
Well fuck, I guess I’ll wait n see if rising interest rates drop the home prices. Nope, fuck u specifically raiderkev, now price is the same, and rates are doubled.
Sick of the fucking struggle and goalposts moving.

Yeah, only on the newer ones tho. My buddy got I wanna say a 2022? And it doesn’t have that. He specifically said if it did, he wouldn’t have bought it.
