💯. I remember the first game they made (halo 4 I think?) they had to go and introduce a whole new race just to put their own mark on the game. Guess what? The Prometheans were fucking stupid and that game sucked. I went from hardcore halo gamer to casual at best. I still haven’t finished 5 even though it’s installed on my PC.

Of course, gotta milk the success of the show for all it’s worth. Amazon is gonna fumble the bag so hard if they try to keep cashing in like this.

My wife loves to buy things that are either not dishwasher safe, or too big to fit in the dishwasher. Then she leaves them in the sink dirty and never washes them. Then those items magically disappear when I inevitably get pissed about the oversized water jug in the sink and throw it out. She will then buy the exact same thing a few months later. I have told her countless times that if she’s going to buy things that aren’t compatible with the dishwasher, I’m not washing them for her, but she continues to buy them.

I’m going to be that guy about GMO crops. If we were modifying them to be drought resistant or need less water, I’d be all for it. Instead, what we modify them for is to be “roundup ready” meaning that glyphosate can be sprayed liberally on it without killing it making weeding the field much easier. I am not concerned about the GMO crop, but I am concerned with all my food being covered in Roundup.

I get that, but imo they do vet them and make sure it’s not absolute crap.

Yeah, if it’s not made by Amazon and sold by them, I typically won’t buy it. All the other stuff is just marked up stuff from AliExpress and temu.

You are dead wrong. They bought Instagram like a decade ago. They changed the name like 3 or 4 years ago if that, and they picked Meta because they were all in on the metaverse
- Comment on Looks Like We Can Finally Kiss the Metaverse Goodbye 1 month ago:
The parent company changed their name to Meta because they were “focusing on the metaverse.” It’s still called Meta despite no a single person ever using their shitty second life oculus clone.

I love how Facebitch changed the name of the company to Meta, and still haven’t changed it back.

I had a gen 2. I only got rid of it because I had kids and needed a bit more space. That thing was reliable asf. I did the struts on it once which was a bit of a pain in the ass (you have to disassemble a lot of the interior to get to the top nut) other than that, the only thing I ever did was oil and brakes and had 0 issues. Thankfully I avoided catalytic converter theft which is a huge problem with those in CA. My next car (Lexus Rx hybrid) I wasn’t so lucky.
