- Comment on Switch 2 preorders delayed over Trump tariff uncertainty 1 day ago:
Yes, as someone who works in supply chain, I definitely don’t have to update hundreds of PO’s to add tariff fees into everything, and the company is definitely not increasing price of the product onto our customers, because that’d be weird. China n Mexico are clearly going to make us rich.

Absolutely, but I don’t think that counts and docked myself that point.

In college, I played lacrosse. My teammate bought a Bluetooth 80’s style boombox to play in the bus on trips and to set the vibe coming off the bus and play music During warmups at away games. Honestly that thing was great. Outside of that particular context? Yeah, pretty shitty thing to do lol.
- Comment on Today's Survey. One point for everything that you have NEVER DONE 4 days ago:
1 point, only because my parents never bought an encyclopedia set. They were absolutely a thing when I was a kid. I definitely used one before, but never owned them. Hooray for being old I guess.
- Comment on Elon Musk and Taylor Swift can now hide details of their private jets/// Private aircraft owners can now ask the FAA to keep their registration information out of the public eye. 5 days ago:
Exactly. Remember when he tried to discredit the crowd at Bernie /AOC’s rally by citing a bunch of cell phone data? Ok, creepy ass big brother Elon.
- Comment on Good to exercise at home instead of gym? 1 week ago:
Very true. Also, a lot of people went ape on home gym setups in 2020 with all the gyms closed. Some of those people are offloading the equipment now as they want more space for other things in the house, and you can get stuff significantly discounted.

I have a set of these (I didn’t pay retail, got them cheap off Craigslist). Adjustable from 10 to 90 lbs and a bench press. With these 2 things, I can do most exercises from the comfort of my home. I have no gym membership, but stay in decent shape. At the end of the day, it’s all about your discipline and sticking to it. Imo it’s much easier and more convenient for me to just go to my garage to work out vs driving 15 mins to/ from. It’s not for everyone tho. Some people like the social aspects of a gym.
- Comment on DoorDash will let users buy now, pay later for fast food, a possible worrying sign for the economy 2 weeks ago:
Exactly. Menu price is 30-50% higher, then add probably $15 in bullshit fees, and a tip for the driver. It’s just not worth it anymore.

Maybe if Joe Roebbells hadn’t elevated Trump and morons like Alex Jones, Tulsi Gabbard, and others we wouldn’t be in this predicament.

Maybe it’s just the biggest threat to capitalism and your ROI. Why do you think he’s supporting the make everyone dumber party?

My point from a legal standpoint is that ‘fighting words’ are not protected speech
- Comment on YSK: That nazis Don't Actually Believe in Free Speech 3 weeks ago:
Like it or not, that’s been the interpretation since the founding of the US. It is not the case in some other countries, but I’m assuming we are talking about the US here. What most people miss is it only restricts the government from punishing your speech, not private entities. Insults, defamation, and lies, are absolutely allowed, but you can be found liable civilly for any damage done by this speech either through punitive damages (lawsuit settlement) or other means, deplatforming, loss of employment, etc.
threats, calls for hatred, are a bit of a gray area. It depends on the severity of the threat, but true threats can be prosecuted.
Hate speech is generally allowed, but if it is inciteful enough to be a true threat, it too can be prosecuted.
If you’d like to read up on true threats, see below:

Honestly, the latter is absolutely free speech. They are 100% free to say that shit if they want. They are not free however from consequences, i.e. getting hit in the mouth, fired from their job, etc.

There are a bunch of votes that were down ballot dem, but for president votes went to Trump. The thought is that they were changed with an algorithm
The Doge guy made ballot reading software in 2020 that had a write function. Like trump said, “Elon is really good with those vote counting computers,” and Elon’s kid said “they’ll never know”
bsky.app/profile/…/3lhowh3ijgs2f
Elon and Trump were facing jail if they didn’t pull this off. Now we have a government full of lackeys with their heads in the sand who won’t even bother looking at it. Trump had talked to Putin 7 times before the election. He and Elon likely set up a quid pro quo deal where Putin helped them steal the election to get the US out of Ukraine
