Reminds me of a quote I heard somewhere that I will now butcher.
Michael Caine was so good in the Muppets Christmas Carol because he considered his fellow Muppets to be actors.
Tim Curry was so good in the Muppets Treasure Island because he considers himself to be a muppet.

I had to deal with rhis with Doordash. Someone was making purchases on there with a card. I called an cancelled the card and get a replacement. Charges start coming in on the new card. Cancel and replace again. Charges still keep coming. I finally had to yalk to Doordash for hours to get them to remove the original card.
What an absolute anti-feature.

Well clearly given your decision, your mother drank with you in the womb and you had fetal alcohol syndrome. Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic.

- Comment on Please defederate from threads.net 11 months ago:
Here's my not-at-all-qualified take:
Let the federation ride. If Threads users add meaningful content and activity, then cool.
But the second we see a Meta ad, pull that fucking plug. We should not be distributing their ads for free (or at all).

- Comment on Threads is officially starting to test ActivityPub integration 11 months ago:
Obviously we will have to see what sort of content comes in from Threads, but knowing Meta, they will be serving a lot of ads in it. So instances will effectively be distributing Meta ads for free.

- Comment on Is it considered ableism to treat someone unfairly with regard to their health condition(s) even if they're not a recognised disability? 11 months ago:
As I write this, I have some debilitating respiratory infection. It's absolutely a disability at the moment - even if only temporary (I hope lol). I can barely do anything without assistance but most people wouldn't consider it a disability like some others.
Now sickness might be a different case than what you're considering, but I don't consider it ableism for "healthy" people to not want my company right now. I would probably avoid them, too, if the roles were reversed.
