  Reminds me of a quote I heard somewhere that I will now butcher.

  Michael Caine was so good in the Muppets Christmas Carol because he considered his fellow Muppets to be actors.

  Tim Curry was so good in the Muppets Treasure Island because he considers himself to be a muppet.

  I just saw AJ Croche, son of the late Jim Croche, in concert not long ago. When he introduced the band each of the members had long stories careers. The drummer had something special though. Gary Mallaber played for Kermit the Frog. And is likely the inspiration for Animal in the Muppet band Electric Mayhem. He even kind of looks like Animal.
