- Comment on UK Government Response to the Stop Killing Games Petition 6 months ago:
The UK gov are as useless as nipples on a man. They don’t act on anything unless they see monetary gain.
- Comment on [deleted] 6 months ago:
Even as an Audiophile, I agree, FLAC is a waste of bandwidth and disk space unless you’re remixing tracks (which most people don’t do!)
- Comment on ‘It went nuts’: Thousands join UK parents calling for smartphone-free childhood 8 months ago:
Smartphones are bad for the mind of developing children; I’d go as far to say as they’re bad in general for adults (but that’s a different topic).
I never had a smartphone when I was a child and I turned out just fine…

- Comment on Record waiting times for cancer treatment in the UK while King Charles begins treatment within days of diagnosis 9 months ago:
This country and the people who run it is a fucking joke. This is no different to Victorian era shit, except we’re supposed to be more civilised nowadays and accept these freeloaders to get preferential treatment? Fuck off, paid thieves is what they are.

A glory hole for your visitors.
- Comment on Got a Ring doorbell? Expect a 43% increase in annual subscription 9 months ago:
Subscriptions are cancer, don’t be a mug and cancel if you’re unhappy with the price increase. People aren’t made of money and EVERYTHING is turning into a subscription nowadays.
- Comment on Disney+ Drops 1.3 Million Subscribers Amid Price Hike, Streaming Loss Shrinks by $300 Million 9 months ago:
When greed backfires it’s glorious! Plus the more streaming services pop up, the more people will pirate; we’ve regressed back into the cable TV era all because the suits are greedy bastards and deserve to lose every subscriber.
- Comment on The FTC isn’t too happy with Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard layoffs 9 months ago:
Yeah but 1,900 staff, come the fuck on that’s a mass exodus not a layoff. I’m in a company of 300+ people and it’s a HUGE number of people, I can hardly process over 6x as many layoffs…
- Comment on The FTC isn’t too happy with Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard layoffs 9 months ago:
Blizzard don’t make Blizzard games anymore, all of the original staff left a very long time ago. They are just Blizzard in name and nothing else.

Parents protect children not the government, they shouldn’t be lying in our faces…
- Comment on The UK’s problematic Online Safety Act is now law | Ars Technica 1 year ago:
Children shouldn’t be allowed to use smartphones. They didn’t exist when I was a kid so, kids nowadays can do without one too. Smartphones and the government are harmful for health.
- Comment on YouTube cracking on ad blockers. 1 year ago:
Yeah but still with ads for free users.
- Comment on YouTube cracking on ad blockers. 1 year ago:
Unpopular Opinion: I don’t like ads as much as anyone, I’d rather YouTube monetises 1440p and 4k content instead of forcing people to watch ads. YouTube is an extremely expensive business to run, so it being free forever is completely unsustainable.

Subscriptions are a plague on our society. No wonder piracy is on the rise when even simple apps require a fucking subscription.

I don’t pay specifically for YouTube with no ads, that’s just a nice bonus, the primary reason is YouTube Music which is amazing.
- Comment on People are getting fed up with all the useless tech in their cars — For the first time in 28 years of JD Power’s car owner survey, there is a consecutive year-over-year decline in satisfaction, wit... 1 year ago:
The only tech I want in my car is satellite navigation, Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth headset support. Anything else is fluff.
- Comment on Apple says it will remove services such as FaceTime and iMessage from the UK rather than weaken security if new proposals are made law and acted upon. 1 year ago:
Why don’t they just actually give their actual reason: to spy on UK citizens.
To use children and criminals as a scapegoat for this attrocity is disgusting.
- Comment on Amazon saved children's voices recorded by Alexa even after parents asked for it to be deleted. Now it's paying a $25 million fine. 1 year ago:
I’m sure if it was a £2.5bn fine, they’d be much more careful about customer privacy going forwards…
