Yep.
I don’t even like communists. I just hate how liberals handle these things. Or rather, how they don’t handle these things at all.
But I mostly hate that nuclear deterrence also effectively acts as a free Holocaust card, which means anti fascism has to come from within. But right now, their citizens are a little too far away from sufficient to drown the fascists out.
It shouldn’t have gotten to this point. They shouldn’t have elected Trump again. Noe that Trump’s 2nd administration is real and acting, it’s a huge problem that not enough people are laying on the brakes and stopping the enemy.

All liberals are diagnosticians.
There exists no liberal surgeons. - Comment on U.S. Is Added to Human Rights Watchlist 1 week ago:
Yeah.
There is no tssk force, is my point.
The US could start killing tens or hundreds of thousands methodically with no due process.
The Europe would not attack.
Certainly this new Russia wouldn’t, either. China wouldn’t. The rest of East Asia, the Middle East and Africa wouldnt. Australia and Canada wouldn’t. Some of South America might give a half assed attempt, if El Salvador were to be a huge death camp host.
- Comment on U.S. Is Added to Human Rights Watchlist 1 week ago:
Sure, but does it matter?
Wouldn’t all human rights organizations just watch whatevet violations go on without really doong anything, and without anyone really doing anything?
I mean, I’m pretty sure the USA could orchestrate a massive death camp extermination and no military power would challenge them.
The US are probably effectively allowed to go full Nazi if they choose to, as long as the rest of Americans who don’t want that to happen can either be ignored or crushed.

Super interesting, thanks for sharing

I feel like there’s a bit of a misunderstanding here.
When I say a “general” community, I mean one that accepts literally any submission category from politics and rants to random images and screenshots and video links about any topic. Likely with only basic limitations like NSFW and hate speech.
I’ll also add I very strongly disagree with point 6. I really dislike that kind of opposition towards growing Lemmy. Prioritizing principles over growth? Sure. But being actively in opposition to accepting normies and coming into a mainstream position as the new way to do forums on the internet is, I believe, fundamentally also in opposition to the whole purpose of the project. Lemmy has no point if it is not to replace the structure of Reddit, whether it be Lemmy itself or a prototype for a bigger and better successor to bring some good future permutation of the Fediverse to the forefront.

- Comment on Trump supporter Rick Fuze was arrested in CA for using a stun gun on peaceful protesters outside a Tesla dealership. The woman kicking this guy’s ass is a retired professor with 16,000 citations. 4 weeks ago:
This Rick Fuze is possibly the most pathetic creature I have ever heard of.
I can’t remember ever hearing of or witnessing anything quite this pointlessly mean spirited, weak, stupid, and regrettable.
I mean, when you attack a senior citizen, the best outcome as far as I’m concerned is obviously that the attacker loses. But for it to have actually happened, and in circumstances like this? Absolutely incredible.

I’m not even joking. I want this asteroid to hit our planet and make us all go the way of the dinos.

Just get them on a friends and family plan on IKmsngr.tx it’s much cheaper than any phone plan and you can get an extension for calls including video calls as well.
The website has the app, you need to sideload it but it’s very easy. The voice and video extension is on github, linked in the IK Msngr FAQ.
- Comment on Greenland | Poll: 85% of Greenlanders do not want to be part of the US 2 months ago:
That should put an end to the conversation.
If it doesn’t, we can with certainty dismiss all pretense of “inviting Greenland to be a state” and recognize that Trump is just undeterred in threatening invasion and exploitation of NATO territory. Likely with a dash of tyranny to keep the locals in line.

That’s the romanticized, traditional Indian cowshit mix trying to approximate it. (Not doing a disparaging stereotype here, that’s just literally how the article says they make it.)
I’d be surprised if it actually contains the compound we’re talking about.

There’s a reason League has always had a better competitive scene than DotA. All good sports are sort of simple and let the physical execution do the talking.
DotA has interesting depth but compared to League of Legends it’s not as good a game, it’s not as well designed.

I always miss League of Legends, it’s a great game. It was when my friends insisted on taking it seriously and playing ranked everyone got mad.
I think I’m gonna play some normals today. Been a while. Wanna play Rengar.
