- Comment on Google won’t stop replacing our news headlines with terrible AI | It now says AI headlines are a ‘feature,’ not an experiment. 2 weeks ago:
That was my experience the first time i switched but i insisted cause my hate to google prevailed. What i felt at the moment is that google had so many aid for searching that 1: it kind of de-trained me in how to properly use keywords and 2: was great for searching common stuff but made search too convergent.
This is just based on vibes and feelings, so it could very easily be a lot of nonsense.
Now trying it back, i feel it off, as I said, but it could also be that i just got acustom to how DDG works.
- Comment on Google won’t stop replacing our news headlines with terrible AI | It now says AI headlines are a ‘feature,’ not an experiment. 2 weeks ago:
Why is people still using google? I used it recently due to a mistake after years of using DDG and honestly, i dont know how anybody can find anything with it. Ads, paid ressults, rubbish that i didnt ask for… Maybe im just not acustom to… idk, googling? But i feel like they trully fucked it up.
- Comment on Why are they different shapes? 2 weeks ago:
Look for baguette sandwich in DDG
You just slice it horizontally for that.

- Comment on Make Microsoft's CEO cry by installing Chrome's 'Microslop' extension 3 weeks ago:
The thing is, if we manage to tip the scale enough, the chicken and egg problem should solve itself. We just need to represent a market big enough to make distributing Linux native software profitable.
Microsoft is deeply rooted everywhere and people really dont like to learn how to work in a completely different environment from the one they had been feed since school. Almost every workplace that involves computer practically demands us to use Microsoft and it’s products. This is the net that keeps us trapped. I guess Gates mild policy against piracy really paid off.*
If only we could take Microsoft out of schools, that would be a huge milestone.
*this could be a myth at this point, idk.

CADs… we need professional, reliable CADs working on linux. Photoediting is a lost cause.
I just grew a pair of balls and installed arch exclusively for gaming. As things are now, temperature monitoring looks easier than I expected and I just tried 7 games, all working like a charm.
- Comment on Do you have to deal with this during your morning commute? 4 weeks ago:
This isn’t and unsolvable problem. There are cities that have working public transport and commute is reasonable.
On the other hand, you have to put a gun on my head to make me work that far from my home.

Games run easily, but there are some that won’t run at all. Mainly those that use anti cheat and kernel level shit. Discord does work, but i remember that maintaining it updated was a pain in the ass. In any case, I didnt use it that much so…
