I got in an argument with a toaster and now I lost a bet and I’m here just to get my house back.

I am not denying that Elon is shitty. But people don’t buy cars based on their manufacturing owners. There is a need and they are fulfilling that need. Should they have known? Probably. But it’s also not a usual requirement for purchasing a car.

Do you look up every owner of the manufacturer of everything you buy? I agree he has been this way for a while. But people buy cars for transportation. Not for their owners.

Yes. Since I was raised around medical people. Most get into the profession because they like helping people.

I don’t agree this is self diagnosis unless you set up an MRI and analyzed the data yourself. Having self awareness to think that something wasn’t right? Yea. That’s what it sounds like.

I blame greed. It doesn’t matter where it came from. It’s some bullshit.

First, paragraph breaks. Please use them.
Second, that isn’t how everyone feels. That is how you feel. People do in fact find it utterly hypocritical to see one thing one way and not the other and then claim to have knowledge above anyone else.
Third, aliens are more likely than gods. Mathematically speaking.

Yup. Same. Feels way better. It’s just like taking a shower after every dump.

1000 percent. I did this for myself a year ago and haven’t looked back.
- Comment on Skill issue 4 weeks ago:
I understand it, but I don’t think it applies.
Gamers tend to think of things as quests. A box to check off. A completionist. Getting married and having kids is part of life’s quests for many people. It’s not seen as collaboration in many ways.

My mom too. In fact I’m going to send this to her and then have an hour conversation about how she doesn’t get it.

This seems possible but energy inefficiency. Cooking fish is really easy. Seems unnecessary.

- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 4 weeks ago:
As much as I respect your knowledge and analysis it isn’t simple enough. I should have said people need to be dying from the same thing. Where the root cause is the same, it can be dismissed. I thought COVID had a chance because it was nasty and killed a lot. But nope. Didn’t keep Trump out.
- Comment on Why aren't there mass protests in the USA? 4 weeks ago:
I am convinced people have to die for it to be big enough in the US. I’m not trying to be difficult or obtuse. I think with the state of things, it’s the only thing that is going to unify us enough to take to the streets and revolt together.

For sure. But the math of those that dont want to risk jail or death is like 99.9 of the 99.

I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m saying why it isn’t done. No one wants to risk it. Or death.

Jail. If it is we legal it wouldn’t be an issue.

- Comment on Are modern Final Fantasy games bad? 1 month ago:
14 is going down hill. I have played it for many years and cleared a lot of the harder content. It’s a lot of rinse, wash, repeat. 15 had some beautiful graphics but it dropped the ball in the open world. 16s battle system was fun. The story was good. Had a decent Gothic roots of fantasy in there.

- Comment on Designed by men, for men: Why sex with robots does not have appeal among women 1 month ago:
I don’t think that’s a linear logic. We all know Vision is a robot. But we also know it’s a story about a robot that is played by a man. We are watching for the spectacle, not because we believed the story to be real.
