Don’t forget some germs are necessary to build immunity, if u isolate your self completely you will do more harm then good. If you have an illness or condition then yeah u make sense.

I get your point. But unfortunately the sad truth is, even IF we can convince techie nerds to switch, do you really believe we could convince the vast majority of the ignorant public? The answer is no. And even as a techie who works with computers on a daily basis, I have my reservations about Matrix. It is a slow, buggy, hot mess for the most part, and it’s even more inconvenient when it comes to voice/video chat.
What I’m learning from this is that there is NO FEASIBLE alternative to Discord, let alone one the general public would be willing to switch to. I’ve now got the task of converting my friends to Signal as a temporary half-measure before we have a reliable alternative, but things aren’t looking good.

- Comment on What do all the subgenres of music mean? How does anyone make sense of them? 2 months ago:
They sound the same to you. While I agree that gatekeeping and snobbish "whell achtually"s are just pointless and annoying, they are still useful to people experienced within those genres to identify common styles and just as a fast and efficient way of describing the piece. The genres definitely have their purpose. If they have no use to you personally, don’t use them, that is fine, and you shouldn’t be criticised for that.

Yeah, playing Sniper Elite 5 atm, clearly the game was designed to follow your own path, however there are collectibles/things to find and/or information key to finishing optional objectives in basically every building. Then sometimes after finishing every main objective on a map, I’m resorting to running around like a madman slaughtering small pockets of remaining nazis because I’ve run out of patience after a 1-2hr mission - therefore ruining my otherwise perfect stealth run -_- .
