- Comment on What is your best isekai anime? 2 weeks ago:
Every one you mentioned is great! I really enjoy all of the villainess isekai, and Trapped in a Dating Sim is really a hilarious variation that came early in the dating sim sub genre. I love it when the main character is a villain.

Ascendance of a Bookworm is a favorite of my wife and I. We’ve rewatched it a few times, as it has a cozy feel to it sometimes. I really hope they continue the story but it is at a decent enough stopping point if doesn’t get any more seasons.

#2 on the sides, tapered up to finger length up top. Leave me some extra in the front
- Comment on Smoking PSA 2 months ago:
I’m generally against “sin taxes” but I have to admit that the $2 bump per pack after I quit smoking made it easier to not look back. It’s now about $5 more (I think, I haven’t actually looked for a while.)
After 18 years of smoking, I am glad I quit.
- Comment on Which anime do you enjoy with a mostly adult cast of characters? 2 months ago:
“The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent” was pretty good. I agree with lots of the others people already listed, but this one makes her age a relevant plot issue which basically sets the tone. It’s a romance anime with light combat and a good amount of world building. 2 seasons.
- Comment on Some subreddits could be paywalled, hints Reddit CEO 3 months ago:
Sure, if that’s how a really popular subreddit pays it’s moderators, it’s not unreasonable. We just know that isn’t what’s going on here.
In addition, it would be unreasonable to expect users of a free service to suddenly start paying for it without an extremely huge value boost which there’s been no mention of. If anything engagement will certainly go down, further reducing the value.

The article is attempting to move the established goal posts for expectations. Stop shilling for these guys. You don’t need to carry their water. The devsl know this which is why they’ve kept pace. They’re just bitching about having to.
It’s so unreasonable yet we do it. Woe is us.

I wrote them out and you made up something different. Fuck man. How many times do I gotta break it down? You not reading didn’t make my words not exist. This is like… common stuff. This whole argument is making sense now…

If you wanna call me stupid, just do that. Don’t tell on yourself.
A gamer is the target audience of the article.

I did write my expectations. So why was that your response? You called expecting the norm illogical. I take it back. You’re just unrealistic and assume everyone else should be too.

You made up what my expectations were then argued against that instead of reality. Keep shilling though.

No need to make things up. My expectation is what we get most of the time. You’re the weirdo acting like it’s not. This article is just a developer trying to move the goal posts of expectations yet again.
Like how much of a cuck for these businesses do you want to be?
It’s not illogical to expect a developer to follow the basic standards of the industry they opted into. It would be illogical to declare them the exception.
Small teams drop regular media and content updates all the time without people dying at their desks. The conversation of their working conditions is between them and their bosses (maybe the state), and not their customers.

Naw screw that. Don’t label it early access if you don’t plan to update it from its current state at a rate that the majority of your fan base expects.

It’s not expecting a complete package at the time of purchase. It’s expecting one in due time with your support.
What you are describing is a game outside of early access.

Don’t take early access money if you don’t plan to be giving frequent updates. It’s the nature of the beast.
People don’t expect constant updates from pokemon because when you buy it, it’s “a complete game”. They may drop patches and add content but it’s not expected the way it is from a game supposedly in active development like an early access game is.

- Comment on Why not serve fried chicken on Juneteenth? How is it different from serving corned beef on St. Patrick’s day? 4 months ago:
Interestingly, if you look at the menu for Juneteenth, it doesn’t include fried chicken. The only chicken is a dry rub chicken that wouldn’t be fried. So your evidence confirms they believe fried chicken is in fact not appropriate for Junteenth. That’s a good reference point if we all accept that the national museum of African American history is an authority on such matters.

It’s actually not saying that at all. I specifically said that I expected her to dislike it.
The rest of us, less emotionally invested in the person as a person and more as a deceased performer, will have differing opinions.
The creators of this and articles around it keep referring to it as an impression that speaks to their motives a little. I suspect that the timing of this may be motivated by recent news surrounding the actors’ strikes.
Demonstrating how this could be used to convincingly create content from an actor without any of their intentional input (evident by him being dead) should make people question these capabilities more, just like they did when people first started seeing convincing deep fakes.
