- Comment on Solus 4.7 Released 3 days ago:
Nice. Solus was one of my first distros so I’m glad it is still alive and kicking.
- Comment on Yule Tidings 4 weeks ago:
Ok, here I go: I will finally hit the gym, find someone to love, get a better job, learn to play an instrument, become a more patient and confident person, read the books I’ve bought, play the games I’ve bought, learn a new language, spend more time with people I care about, try LSD, start a master’s degree and do something about my receding hairline. Good luck, future me.

I do not envy any insect going into battle against ants. Do the ladybugs even stand a chance?
- Comment on All Of Apple’s Foldable iPhone Prototypes Have Visible Creases, Which May Explain The Company’s Apprehension Towards A Launch 3 months ago:
Do I need a foldable phone? No. Do I like the idea of owning a phone that is actually small enough to be used with one hand and can fit anywhere? Yes. Besides, closing it to end a call is very cool.

Why not? It’s not like Huawei can just use Android so I doubt they’ll pull the plug on this system anytime soon.

It’s about time we got a major third player in the mobile OS space. Godspeed to Huawei, may tbey succeed where Microsoft failed.
- Comment on I think Sims is a dead franchise now 4 months ago:
The fact that there aren’t many alternatives likely means that making a Sims-like game isn’t as simple as it looks. That being said, there are a bunch of life sims under developement right now (probably because EA is doing a terrible job) such as Paralives, Inzoi and Alterlife.
- Comment on Jesus could have been an antique meme à la Chuck Norris that got waaaay out of hand 4 months ago:
Chuck has a great shot at becoming the messiah of a new religion then cause the holy book of Norrisism has already been written, it’s called Chuck Norris Facts.

- Comment on Tesla’s Share of U.S. Electric Car Market Falls Below 50% 6 months ago:
It’s a shame that’s not the default because while do find EVs interesting there’s no way I’m buying a car that may stop working after a failed software update. Did early EV manufacturers feel the need to put as many bleeding edge features as possible in their vehicles to make them more alluring? Cause I can’t imagine another reason to turn a car into a driveable smartphone.

- Comment on GOG Summer Sale has arrived 7 months ago:
Interesting. I never finished the The Witness but I got some solid 10h of entertainment out of it before I stopped having fun. I’d say it is a brilliantly well designed game that’s well worth the price if you are into puzzles.
- Comment on What are you playing this week? June 10 2024 Edition 7 months ago:
Funny that you mentioned Coral Island, that game has been on my wishlist for a while now. Yeah, I can’t disagree, Moonstone Island often feels pretty chore-ish. It hits many of the same points as farming sims and creature collectors do so if I had played some of those recently I probably wouldn’t enjoy it very much. That being said, it is a very charming game and I’ve been having fun with it so I’d say to wait for a sale if you’re not too sure.

- Comment on What are you playing this week? June 10 2024 Edition 7 months ago:
I’m playing Moonstone Island, which is basically Stardew Valley meets Pokémon. So far it seems pretty average in both fronts but it is a very chill game so I’m fine with that.
- Comment on Chef RPG is a foodie Stardew Valley where you brew your own drinks and try to keep the critics happy 7 months ago:
I’ve seen some of the devlogs on youtube and it seems pretty interesting. It’s a shame it has such a generic name though.

They’re all lickable, it’s just that some you can only lick once.
- Comment on clearly aliens 9 months ago:
The ‘top-down’ construction method was used, which allowed the first 23 stories to be built before the basement was fully excavated.
So it was aliens, got it.

Same here, Sim City 3000 and The Sims were my jam and I still listen to their soundtracks every once in a while, they’re so good. There was something truly magical about Maxis back then.
