Yeah, still not on the same level. But if we want to go with that they are, then using the same logic all conservatives are nazi child rapists… Every last one, they fuck children and want to eradicate non-whites.

Depends, do you think you can hold on to your humanity? Are you looking forward to working along side some of the most soul crushing people you will ever know? Really, it’s nothing more than training you to view humans as nothing more than a commodity. If you are cool with either thinking that way or operating in an environment that demands that kind of thinking…
- Comment on Trump threatens tariffs on countries that ‘discriminate’ against US tech 1 week ago:
I see these countries building their trade with counties other than the US as the only good part of Trump’s tarrif tantrums. Less reliance on the US is better for everyone, even the US. Because it will force us (I am American) to have to participate globally without the strong arming bullshit we have always relied upon. It will force us to actually work with others.

The proposed existence of unknowable things, however, isn’t an argument for the religious explanation. Claiming something is unknowable but then also supposing it might be this specific thing is contradictory. Draw the line at saying “we can’t know” not “you can’t prove it doesn’t exist”.
Also, that slippery scope where the same stance of “you can’t prove it doesn’t exist” applying to things like unicorns, space teapots, superheroes, midichlorians…

Had a friend with this problem. All she could come up with was changing her wardrobe to reduce the appearance of youth. But as others said, date who you want. No matter how you look or who you date there will be judgemental eyes that should be rightfully ignored.

Being from Iowa, I take offense to that… But yes, you are correct.
- Comment on Why Americans Can’t Buy the World’s Best Electric Car 1 month ago:
The issue is not so simple. Blocking BYD has a lot to do with protecting American manufacturing jobs. That’s not to say Biden’s tariff was the right answer. But it is a more complicated problem to solve than it appears from the perspective of a single car buyer.

So… AI.
- Comment on Do you remember Windows 95? How about Windows 96? 2 months ago:
Back in 1997 I worked overnight at a bank running their backup software. Lots of sitting around being bored. I took it upon myself to change the Windows 95 startup logo to say Windows 96 on a number of computers. Someone out there remembers Windows 96.

The same guy would gladly disobey the law if he wanted to. To them, the law is for others.
- Comment on Genius 4 months ago:
Sadly, it doesn’t matter if he said it when it is entirely reasonable to believe that he did. It isn’t the most racist or the stupidest thing this guy has said on national television.
- Comment on Trying to reverse climate change won’t save us, scientists warn 10 months ago:
Might I suggest you use the time machine you created to go back and talk yourself out of making the climate change reversal machine. I can think of nothing worse than for you to feel like you are stupid.
