It’s attention seeking is literally the point for me. Heavy problems with self-discipline, so this helps me return to learning daily. And it’s good to go from zero to a level where you can start learning by consuming content in the language you’re learning.
But yeah, energy can suck dick and I can see how what helps me may be irritating for folks who can manage their own time easier than I so.
- Comment on Women and men and consensual sex 1 day ago:
I honestly cannot comprehend some countriea. Where I live, we don’t talk about raoe because it’s a goddamn tragedy. You can jest or shame virgins or sluts because in the end it has little meaning - but rape isn’t a joke, damn it.
And it isn’t generally swept under the rug here either. Even if woman won’t drag you to court out of shame or guilt or anything, most folk who know will lynch you if they know what you’ve done.
- Comment on Microsoft confirms Windows 11 is about to change massively, gets enormous backlash - Neowin 1 week ago:
I even mentioned Mint and that it drops problems to lower level, so? My grandma barely grasped the concept of a browser and had problems understanding how to use google.
And sure as hell when she got some custom-software disc from hospital with embedded images from her x-ray or whatever it’s called, I wouldn’t want her to need to also deal with Linux possibly not being able to run it.

Heh, I’m literally in the same boat as you - testing distros and such. And I studied programming for some time so I have above average tech literacy and yet still I had to spend some time learning how to get old wi-fi on a laptop to work (thankfully well documented), and I still have to tinker with which distro will be best for my hardware as it’s not only kinda old, but also I have nvidia card and some wierd wifi so I am ready for things to be weird.
And I hope I didn’t come off as saying that Linux is some insurmountable wall for everyday folk in original comment but as you pointed out - everyday folk ain’t willing to deal with any problems in the first place.
XKCD comic about specialists expectations towards everyday folk come to mind xD

> Ask
And then ask again each and every single time something doesn’t work. Or you need to install something. Something is badly configured.
You need at least medium level tech literacy to deal with Linux. Maaaaybe entry level with Mint and the like, but still, if you get skittish due to console, at which 70% of worlds population at minimum does, Linux ain’t for you.
Windows is successful because it’s easy to understand and holds your hand as much as possible. People who are complaining are quite often folk who are simply forced to use it, most people don’t really see anything wrong, even those using tech more…
- Comment on Me when Valve releases a phone 1 week ago:
I kinda wanna hate that but, while pricy, it…it would be good, wouldn’t it? It’s Valve after all. It wouldn’t be astounding. But it would be stable, reliable, accessible…
All dreams as of now but…
- Comment on Arguing for the car as a good method of transportation is like arguing that having personal diesel generator to power you home is a good idea 1 week ago:
Yeah, but living out in the country is one of the rare times where having a car is actually fully practical, so out of scope for me, but I may have not been clear about it :|
- Comment on Arguing for the car as a good method of transportation is like arguing that having personal diesel generator to power you home is a good idea 1 week ago:
We have enough of them here that they are enough, and that’s in student city. But they are coupled with proper public transportation, bike/e-bike rentals and e-scooter rentals, so there’s plenty to go along. So you have plenty of better options for just moving, but when you want to grab a lot of grocieres at once or something, there are car rentals.
- Comment on Arguing for the car as a good method of transportation is like arguing that having personal diesel generator to power you home is a good idea 1 week ago:
In EU, or at least my country, there is a concept of car rentals for minutes. You just boot up an app, it shows map with car locations, you reserve the closest one and get to it. Pay per minute or kilometer.
Is there sonething like this in USA?

Why would anyone seriously dress nicely to look “better”? Is the world that insecure?
Why would anyone take care of their health to look “better”? Is the world that insecure?
Welcome to society where you are being forced to comply with societal expectations. Which is bullshit, and thankfully we are killi g it off bit by bit, but yeah.

Now you put a stupid idea in front of me of Musk doing shit for the common folk just because no one in the higher class wants to have to deal with him, just to stroke his ego and make it to history books.
Ultimate pettiness that would benefit the whole world.
Worst part is, some naive part of me believes this idiot is capable of that. xD

Draw the rest of the owl assninstruction xD
“balance the herbs”, “when it seems ready, add noodles”, not even gonna mention having a lot of spices and all that.
Do not take this as me criticising youe instruction - it may be good! For people that know what are they doing. xD
And also, still a lot longer than just stir-fry or bakin/roastin.
- Comment on Soup 4 weeks ago:
Meat with some texture - not slimy or watery. So this limits me, personally, quite a bit. And if I have to throw meat on the pan and then throw it into a soup…what’s the point of soup, just add veggies to pan and stir fry it xD
I need to add, I don’t like cooking that much so I focus on least time in kitchen possible.
And still, cooking takes a lot longer than frying and I guess similiar time like doing things in the oven? And is still more complicated than both of these, as you can both fry and bake.roast with just salth and pepper and things still taste good.
- Comment on Soup 4 weeks ago:
I am amazed by people willing to cook soups constantly. Mostly because it’s such a long process compared to just throwing shit in the pan, or even throwing shit in the oven. :|
I also hate cooked meat due to it’s texture, but that’s on me xD

- Comment on Jesus hates American "Christians" 5 weeks ago:
FFS I hate that. “Religion poisons everything” no! No it doesn’t! Think if christianity wasn’t a thing they wouldn’t find something else to twist? After all it’s not like any other good thing got twisted, no? Communism, patriotism, charity, heck, even local communities?
Christianity says: Do not do to others what you don’t want done upon yourself. No matter if sinner or faithful, treat all with respect (nagging about becoming christian is ok tho, sadly). Do not fall for greed, lust or pride.
American “Christians” aren’t Christians, same like most of the local Patriots are actually Nationalists and Communism is mostly used as a another tool for simply stealing power.
I know I am pretty much shaking my fist at the sky here, sorry, but I really needed to let it out ._.

There’s possibility that GTA VII will come faster. Rockstar does waves on new engine versions. GTA I + II, engine switch, GTA III, VC, SA, engine switch, GTA IV, GTA V, possibly engine switch?, GTA VI, GTA VII? Or some offspin?
Problem is, they smelled online money so dunno.

Hate Winter because cold and depressing ( IDGAF about people moaning that heat is depressing, in Winter everything is depressing since snow went extinct )
Gimmie warm late Spring all the day tho. Maybe with water warm like at the end of summer. Perfect mix.
- Comment on I wonder why the widespread adoption of the internet hasn't been good for society as a whole. 2 months ago:
Bull, people are more gullible. Back when I was a kid, if you hear something on the street, you went and checked it. But on the internet, people accept shit as-is, because they like it and that’s it. Fucking hell.
