Worse, season 2 drops 5 years later and you never find out.

It’s crazy to me that you could watch season 1 of a show on Crunchyroll, and then Crunchyroll will pay money to license season 2 and not make any attempt to let you know about it.
Zaron@lemmy.today 1 month ago New game :( a anime about a video game studio and showing the perspectives of the different roles focusing mainly on drawing and graphic design. It’s a funny silly nerdy anime with a gorgeous animation style that leaves off at the end of season 2 setting up the future for the show. Really depressing

Tenchi Muyo War on Geminar never heard from again…
Even tho they came back and finished the OG series and gave GXP another season, AND ended the OG show by leading into War on Geminar. It’s honestly criminal they never finished it.

That one really didn’t require a second season though did it? I thought it wrapped up pretty nicely.

The ending was very open ended. Like nothing was resolved other than he was like “yup I’m stuck here. Better make the best of it” and that was it.
Also it’s funny to think that War on Geminar is an isekai

It’s also part of the OVA continuity, so the characters will likely show up again. Every few years, Masaki Kajishima scrounges up the cash for another entry.

Full metal panic any day now… Invisible victory was 13 years after the second raid… And 8 years ago…

I’m still mad to no end that we’ll never see Tomoko’s growth and her band of misfit friends.

Oh damn, definitely needed another season

Eighty Six, for me. They easily have enough material for an additional 4-5 seasons, if not more.
I just want to see best girl animated.

Even better, Nyan Koi had season 2 announced at the end of season 1. That was in 2009. The manga sort of just stopped.

Ah No Game No Life.
I feel like this is really common with overly long and verbose LNs that get adapted into anime more than anything else.
this one in particular got caught plagiarizing

Oh I had no idea. That explains a lot.
