Yeah, looks like the copying was with Yuki’s early 2000’s manga, Flower of Eden. Chihayafuru is completely unrelated to the plagiarism accusations. The author even fessed up and apologized.

I feel like this is really common with overly long and verbose LNs that get adapted into anime more than anything else.
