Texted my sister!
So apparently he hasn’t replaced them yet and they are still broken.
They are VERY much still in an alpha state it seems.
My sister has a hope that they will be good at reading text or helping identify people later on in the technology but are still very much a WIP for a vision impaired tool.

I’ll try and ask him about it.
I’ll be seeing him this weekend so I’ll try and lowkey ask him. It’s a somewhat recent diagnosis but I also know he broke his glasses swimming at the beach this past summer.

Anyone have a solid epub reader on iOS? I frequently use the Books app to read my epubs since I often find myself without my ereader and don’t want to use Kindle.

My father and my brother in law both use them.
My BIL has a degenerative eye disease so this kind of technology could very well absolutely assist him in the not so far future. But my dad is just an absolute whore for bleeding edge consumer tech.
He also bought into Google Stadia for example.

Despite it’s flaws, I actually really like DBZ Kai as an alternative to the original run.

I’d agree with this. It feels like Shounen + the first anime a lot of millennials watched or really cut their teeth on.
Of specifically TV shows I think Evangelion, Dragon Ball Z, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, and Cowboy Bebop should be on this list. Everything else could be purged.
I love One Piece and think it’s great, but it’s a hard sell as ANOTHER long running battle manga series with Dragon Ball Z being right there.

At this point I would consider just waiting for when the series gets reanimated in The One Piece.
Or read the manga. I watched the first 150 or so episodes before the pacing issues really started showing up, then made the switch to print media.

Your best bet might be to ask your partner! This is likely something that varies wildly person to person.

Broadly speaking about straight men and women sexting, I think a lot of it falls on men not knowing what their partner may want to see.

True, but in my experience that’s on a separate console in the back seat.

I’d argue split climate for the driver and passenger seat is the only important missing innovation.

My favorite rom hacks are mainly Emerald based.
Been enjoying Pokémon Odyssey, which is a bit like Made In Abyss crossed with Pokémon. It’s got a full quest log and a huge dungeon and great story to explore. I haven’t played too much of this, but I have loved the hour or two I played through.
I also enjoyed Pokémon Scorched Silver, which acts as a Johto sequel and has a huge dex of mons up to Gen 9.
Because I’m a huge Emerald fan I have to shout out Pokémon Seaglass. It’s got a retro artistic feel to it. All the sprites are basically demakes and go back to the classic Gen 2 style. There are also battle backgrounds, following Pokemon, dexnav, and some balance changes, such as letting the Light Ball work for Raichu and Pichu.
Odyssey is the most unique, but Seaglass is really polished. Scorched Silver feels like another mainline game just with a huge dex. It still retains some of the level cap issues for the original GSC games I believe.

This is apparently a game made by some of the old guard at BioWare.
Reminds me a bit of Andromeda mixed with ME1. Less focus on being part of a military organization from what I see.

I liked Andromeda.

Rest in peace Mass Effect.
Old BioWare did splinter into Archetype and are working on “Exodus.” I am not yet sold, but looks more like a harder sci-fi, since traveling at near FTL is actually one way time travel.

Tap for spoiler
I just watched an edited version of the ending video on YouTube. Basically this family is trapped in a supermarket and terrified of a giant kaiju-type bug attack going on. The story revolves around the groups of people at the store trying to survive. Immediately after this screenshot in the meme, the father kills his entire family, leaves the car, and sees a MASSIVE caravan of military personnel escorting survivors out of the titular mist and using flamethrowers to burn away the bugs and mist. Most of the folks from the supermarket are seen in these trucks.

Yeah, I used MangaDex PWA to read a fair amount of licenses series, so them being pulled of that was a major bummer.
I still read some on MangaDex, but not as many and mainly use it as a list of series I plan to read.

Do you all use any apps when reading manga? I’m on iOS and mainly stick to websites (RIP Mangadex and Comick) in my browser.
(I use Orion with UBlock+)

No. Just special insurance.
My state requires both a sign with the Uber name and my license plate in the window. These are removable and provided by Uber.
