Honestly they all rock it. If anything Janeway is the one most out of place.

She’s mostly out of place because she’s the only one rocking those badass boots. You can’t see the fellas’ feet, probably because they’re wearing space Crocs or something

Agreed, the Janeway wears the pants around here.

Her’s is hiked up a lot higher.

It just makes sense. That has to be 20-25% less material to replicate per uniform. There’s *coffee *in those pants.

By that logic they should recycle all clothing and install a nudist workplace policy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) im sure the lack of insulation will compensate by everyone running 5 degrees hotter

Paris, Kim, Tuvok, Chakotay, The Doctor… Honestly I’m okay with the nudist policy. Please install.

Does this mean you also enjoyed Orange River’s skant video?
Stamets@startrek.website 1 year ago
I have no idea what you’re talking about so I am gonna go with no… But I will look it up

I have failed. It wasn’t Orange River, it was Junkball Media. youtu.be/Jy1SA3-4lfU?si=51yP_C8pl3vZsmZ2

Every time I see the skant, two things come to mind:
- Lotta leg-shaving going on. That or leggings. I’m not opposed to either as an aesthetic choice, but it kind adds a layer to the impracticality.
- I think the absence of a belt is what keeps these from reading like a kilt or tunic. Either of which would be a fantastic nod to traditional affectation for earthling personnel (as other races do). Instead, the skant sits in this apparel uncanny-valley of sorts, where it’s neither a dress, dress uniform, gown, or nightshirt.

Due to
my own fantasy subroutinesexposure to an alien disease of an, ahem, intimate nature, I prescribe short skirts or dresses at all times, for all crew members.limelight79@lemm.ee 1 year ago
Saves fabric and therefore energy!

Janeway: I suffer from a very sexy learning disability. What do I call it, Tuvok?
Tuvok: *sigh* Sexlexia…
