Would submitting a criminal complaint against Trump and his administration too the ICC for war crimes be a waste of time?
Trump was convicted of 34 crimes and impeached twice… what do you think?

34
crimes
34 felonies
Being impeached is NOT the same as being removed from presidency. In fact, there have been 4 total impeachments in U.S history. None have lead to removal of office.
I don’t disagree with your message or tone. I just see people online say “He was impeached, and nothing happened”.
No, it did. He WAS impeached. That’s what being impeached looks like. A little astrict on your presidency, and a seperate vote for removal of office. He was never voted out of office. But both astricts will remain there for the rest of history.
*Asterisk.

The fact that they aren’t part of the same process is just mind boggling stupid.
There have been four attempts to impeach the president the first one failed.
I guess you think this * thing is some sort of detriment. IF anything it will just assure that Trump will remain in our collective consciousness.
The US has had many shit presidents who are by an large forgotten.
All this * will do is ensure he is remembered…
Don’t never stop giving up.
You could file a complaint to the ICC, who would basically wag their finger at him.
And then trump would release a statement:
“So the ICC won’t let me be, or let me be me, so let me see. They shut down the Islands with Epstein, and now they’re so empty without me!”
The US is not a signatory of the Rome Statute, which established the ICC. You can submit a complaint, but since the government doesn’t recognize their authority (and in fact has a standing, approved invasion plan to prevent US citizens from ever being tried in The Hague), it won’t do anything.
Neither is Russia, but the ICC still issued warrants for the arrest of several leaders after they invaded Ukraine.

I’d love to see the next Democratic administration just let them take him and all his cronies.
Yup, cannot get more “One Law for Me, another for Thee” that this, right?
They routinely tell and make the ICC pound sand. But do it anyway
It’s mind-boggling that this administration can be accused (and seemingly guilty) of war crimes and at the same time playing War so ineptly.
Hegseth would be an ideal target for this but imo we should call politicians to ask them to join the ICC.
Considering nothing will be done about it, yeah.

No, US is not member of the ICC

And there is a US law on the book if I recall that is commonly referred to as the “Hague Invasion Act”. They’ll literally send troops if the ICC ever tries to take a US politician or high-ranking civil service member into custody.
So much respect for international law /s

They call it “American Service-Members’ Protection Act” but thats definitely not what this is. What a disrespect of international law. The big powers have always taken out more right but still. I knew they didn’t accept the ICC but to have such a law passed is ridiculous

That will never happen. If some criminal politician gets caught and hauled to The Hague, that means he probably deserves it, and there will NOT be the political support to go to war with our NATO allies to rescue some PedoCon War Crimes nal Dipshit.
The reaction from the American people is likely to be the opposite - fry the dipshit.
