The recording was likely the reason he was killed. People think he recorded a crime so ICE spun on him to get the phone and “accidentally” did a murder.
In multiple shots (no pun intended) it is shown him holding a phone to record. Question is what happened to the phone and why not release his video?

I think the federal government learned it’s lesson when they released the Jonathan Ross cell phone video. Anything on that phone will destroy whatever weak narrative they have currently going.

Our only hope is that some of that video got uploaded before the Fascists destroyed it and Alex’s family will be able to access and release it. Otherwise that footage is gone.

I’m guessing one of the agents has kept it as a trophy.

We probably won’t be able to see much, but the audio will be important, I think.

What do you need to see on the phone? We already know what happened. It was filmed from multiple angles.

Their faces.
We hope the judicial system takes care of this. Because once people stop trusting the judicial system, the fallback system is way way worse.

What they look like and the exact words that were said could potentially be pretty goddamned important to the case.

How long till people sick of gestapo in the US realize they can cosplay as gravy seals, infiltrate them and eliminate a couple of them during these big ops. You’d also likely get away with it. This would immediately have the consequence of them no longer wearing masks over fear of further infiltration.

Most of the time, if someone’s phone is confiscated by any kind of officers/agents, it’s gonna be stored somewhere just so they can have it. Even if they don’t want to release a video, they can still crack your phone and get your data, (considering your phone has to be after the first unlock state to record things on it, it would be trivial to exfiltrate all data on the phone unencrypted) like your messaging history, to later paint you as a terrorist or find some other thing they can use to smear your reputation as a martyr.
They don’t want to release the video because it’d make them look horrible.

I suppose it would be an interesting recommendation to sync data with some cloud service, and not just with Wi-Fi.

anything on that phone is looong gone. The phone itself is probably long gone. Probably best to stop thinking of them like a police force who keep evidence and stuff. They’re the Gestapo.

They’re probably trying to sell it on eBay as we speak
