    Not the op, but the entire issue would suddenly just kinda…go away. The propaganda machine would label it “false news”, and every single conservative would immediately fall in line.

    But almost nobody would even read any of it, and the release would almost certainly guarantee that the ones responsible would walk free.

  Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t it leak a few weeks ago that all you had to do was download the redacted files, that the government themselves released, and then highlight the redacted parts?

  I swear that was a thing.

    There was wide variation in the methods of redactions, you could do that for some and other tricks to unredact other pages, but most of the redactions weren’t visible, and even the blacked-out pages they did release were something like 1% of the total files.

    Not the world, but certainly America. The whole “once the files are released then we will rise up for real!” is nothing but a sad fantasy, and something that limits American organisation and real change. The lines were crossed back when the OG Anglo-Saxon conquerors came and almost annihilated the natives, then again with chattel slavery, then again with gunboat diplomacy in America, then again with dropping nukes, then again…
