This right here is why everything is so fucked up.
- Comment on AI Electric Bills 7 hours ago:
Why would the companies pay the bill? What are we gonna do, not have electricity or go use the other company that either doesn’t exist or is raising rates for the same reason? Folks like you are just now noticing that this whole system is a scam, but unfortunately the time for action was 30 years ago.
- Comment on Artists dump X as launch of new AI image editing feature sparks outrage - Cryptopolitan 7 hours ago:
People still on Twitter are actively, knowingly supporting Nazis and the destruction of society itself. Fuck any artist that still used that platform.

It always irks me that even though we have no idea what consciousness is we assume it’s a human only thing.

Older games relied on the players imagination and scanlines to fill in the gaps that the technology wasn’t able to produce and in a way that was a better way to do things I think.
- Comment on Why do we produce so much porn? 1 week ago:
I’d argue the drive has been hijacked and amplified for my reasons above. Gym bros, meat eating and “low T” are all in service to male sex drive. It’s far more sinister than it appears and not the least bit surprising.
- Comment on Why do we produce so much porn? 1 week ago:
It’s a means of control and money making. You shouldn’t be surprised that’s pretty much the answer to a lot of big questions.
- Comment on Larian CEO Responds to Divinity Gen AI Backlash: 'We Are Neither Releasing a Game With Any AI Components, Nor Are We Looking at Trimming Down Teams to Replace Them With AI' 1 week ago:
I didn’t say anything about not enjoying it or boycotting it. I said that the more money Larian makes the more likely that they’ll turn into every other profitable company where making money becomes the only point. I don’t know why you and the other replies think I said something I clearly didn’t.
- Comment on Larian CEO Responds to Divinity Gen AI Backlash: 'We Are Neither Releasing a Game With Any AI Components, Nor Are We Looking at Trimming Down Teams to Replace Them With AI' 1 week ago:
That’s not a very good comparison, but do whatever you want, bud.

Because one day they won’t. The more money a company makes the closer they get to being every successful company.

- Comment on Samsung to halt SATA SSD production, leaker warns of up to 18 months of SSD price pressure, worse than Micron ending consumer RAM 2 weeks ago:
It wasn’t sarcastic; I meant it.
SATA is still used for spinning disks and there aren’t any NVME or SATA SSDs that touch their capacity. You won’t see M.2 platter hard drives so ignoring the mismatch of terms used by OP, SATA doesn’t have a replacement yet for non enterprise users.

Not voting is a person’s right. Voting a lesser evil is moral blackmail.

- Comment on Do you ever feel like your life is "scripted"? Like everything is written by some entity controlling your life? Like you live in a fictional universe? Is this feeling normal/common? 2 weeks ago:
An even more horrible thought is no one can prove that isn’t what’s happening.
