  Until you realise once your job is done after being activated you may not be worth retrieving or someone else’s activation is to make sure you can’t talk about what you have done.

  Typically you would not have access to the “money” part to maintain your cover. Never be allowed to chill, because chill agents end up in prison.

    Sorry for the double reply and I this is shower thoughts not anything scientific.

    I do have to argue “chill” people don’t get caught at all. That’s what separates a sleeper agent from a spy or espionage agent.

      Again, your government will not be paying you until you are activated and “maybe” return home.

      And you’ll be “spying” on people you’ll probably hate. Like, if you’re given the chance to move up in your cover career to be Epstein’s personal island assistant, you’re obligated to take it and do a good job.

      No, a sleeper agent will have to have a boring ass regular job as part of the cover. You will literally work more, since you will have to work your regular job and your spy job at the same time.

  The fun part is that you can just decide thats what youe life currently is. Your memories of friends and family? All plants. Your lack of kung fu skills? Deliberately dormant until you receive the activation phrase.
