I came here looking for something different than Reddit but I’m actually pretty done. I try to post, start threads and conversations but the ones that don’t get deleted because of some vague rule get questioned to hell as to why it exists that it makes me wish I hadn’t posted at all.

Yes, but it has been used for so long to make lather; people feel as though other products aren’t effective if they don’t lather.

I agree with that, besides- if you use bar soap you HAVE to have a face wash if you catch my drift.

Well, If you’d like a woman’s perspective- it will do nothing but strip your skin and hair like extra strength laundry soap. Soap in general is really good at removing oil and dirt but it doesn’t distinguish. That is why conditioner is needed, to put back what the shampoo took out. Mixing them together make them both ineffective. As for soap, most body washes may make your skin soft, or have a certain scent - but you still have to wear lotion after. It’s the body wash’s conditioner so to speak. Shampoo can be modified to be less damaging, be safe for color, skin conditions or treat dandruff.
That’s why 3-1 is a gimmick. You don’t have to have 113 products. Just a shampoo, a conditioner, any soap at all and a good lotion.

I bet you’re talking about dollar tree or one of the chains they have. Really doesn’t surprise me; the management for that company is a few hairs short of a slumlord. Stay safe

That doesn’t seem right. Japan is very conservative of its “genealogy” and would treat “halfus” very differently than people who look Japanese regardless of mastery of the language. They also have strict immigration laws because, they don’t view immigration as a positive. It would be a threat to their homogeneous culture and society.

Is that right? Maybe if you look a certain way that’s socially acceptable to them. If you aren’t (white, Asian) you’ll get temporary work that pays like shit, and companies can not hire you because they don’t like that you’re not Japanese with no legal or social protections to aide you. Even shit jobs have social requirements. That’s really the biggest problem.

The reality you live in and the one I do are quite different. I don’t find it hard to understand why you have so much time to spend on other people not understanding your drivel right after the holidays. You might not understand this but; this is a social platform where you may comment and others may or may not disagree with you. If you have anything further to add; don’t. There isn’t anything to gain from having a “conversation” with you and replying to your psychobabble is something I mistakenly did but is time for your therapist to take over.

I’m so very confused; what conversation, wrong about what? I don’t remember ever engaging in a conversation with someone who speaks in riddles. Do you always press those who don’t want anything to do with you for interaction? You should watch that- it’s a very caustic trait. When someone no longer wishes to talk to you; you should respect that.

How should I know that I had any, and how can you tell? It’s not like there are symptoms; or even a thermometer to gauge if one has had one. Some must be doing it for the first time.

The way I see it, it’s a reason to be kinder to yourself for things you are prone to do, or behaviors you’re not fond of. Maybe you can “train” yourself to be different, but you aren’t who put it there and shouldn’t judge yourself for the person you are.
I’m glad I was able to clear it up! I actually love talking philosophy; so thank you for giving me a chance to do that today.

I agree with you, but the memories you keep at the forefront aren’t your choice either. You tend to remember the negative moments more vividly because your brain is trying to protect you from experiencing it again. A useful tactic in times past, but not so much anymore. I’m not saying you’re not you- you are. There is a you apart from your body and mind, but it is much much less than people would like to realize. It’s more like you’re a ghost in the machine. You think you’re the driver but you’re really just the passenger that gets to say where to stop every so often, but not consistently.

Well, you aren’t. You didn’t chose most things about yourself, you just think you did as to not cause existential crisis. Your favorite foods, your sexuality, what you think is funny, what smells like perfume and what smells like poop; all has very little to do with anything you consciously chose. Most of the things I mentioned are decided before you’re born.

You aren’t your brain, your brain and body are completely apart from you and don’t care what you’d like. If you were your brain you could stop beating your heart at will, stop digesting, stop or start functions that you are in control of. You’re not in control of anything; not even what you are seeing. Just your perspective and what you make of those experiences. Also, the change in behavior is also mostly up to your body and brain; not you. If you’re hungry, your judgement is clouded and skews towards the negative, not because that is your want.
