  I was kind of a shit as a kid and butted heads with my parents a bit. My step-dad, born in '68, told me he was stationed in Germany during his stint in the Army. My dumb ass asked if it was for WWII because I connected Germany and US military with WWII without even trying to do the math on time. Almost got an ass-kicking before my mom had to come to my defense about me just being a dumbass and not trying to call him old.

  To be fair, it was the kind of cheek I would pull from time to time and I was at some level at odds with my step-dad most of the time, so I dont blame him at all. Point is, kids are dumb sometimes and often have no real concept of time over long periods.

  Back in high school we knew a kid who wasnt the brightest but I guess I didnt fully understand how bad that was until a question was asked about dinosaurs and he really believed they existed around 1000 years ago. When you get information like that from someone, it changes things.

    Was he Roderick Heffley??? The Poem “100 Years Ago” from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. It contains an incredibly uneducated description of life 100 years ago, including Cavemen Riding on Dinosaurs and Deserts Filled with Snow

    There are way too many people today who believe the obvious and provable lies of the media. No different than believing that dinosaurs actually existed after humans came onto the scene
