I am in the minority but if i ever had a fridge that’s costing me money like that it would never be a brand I would ever associate with ever again and the current one is being tossed ASAP. I’m also not connecting fridges to my wifi either because why should it be?
- Comment on The Witcher 4 - Cinematic Trailer | State of Unreal 2025 12 hours ago:
Not even, it’s a tech demo and has nothing to do with the game outside the assets used. That village will most likely not exist in the final product. I still think it looks fantastic and can’t wait to see more. I would hope this means they are close to releasing something later this year and maybe even get a release date.
- Comment on AI company files for bankruptcy after being exposed as 700 Indian engineers - Dexerto 18 hours ago:
It says it’s been doing this for 8 years. So, since AI hasn’t even been around that long, does that mean they were always like this and just lied that they switched over to AI? I wonder if they just encouraged the current employees to field the response and then they would run it through another AI to provide answers. Either way there had to be some delay which I feel would have been the dead giveaway?

Hey Baldur’s Gate 3 only came out 2 years ago! I know what you mean though. It’s rare when you play something that feels effortless and you want to keep playing it because it’s that good. This game definitely had that! I luckily saw the trailer last fall and fell for it then. I didn’t want to get my hopes up with how things are these days but I gave it a shot and was my first day one release game in over a year I think. Took the day off and I was soo happy I did.
- Comment on Better music management 1 week ago:
I am also using Navidrome and Symfonium. It’s about as good as local library playback can get! Thanks for a new one to try Feishin, never heard of it before. I have tried setting up Lidarr, but I never got it to grab stuff and rename it to what i like, so I stopped. I’m sure I probably could, but I didn’t want to spend the time trying.
My current setup is grab from Orpheus or redacted, run it through program generically called tagscanner (been using it for years and love it) then drop everything into musicbrainz Picard with custom setup to only grab genres for everything and will attach up to 5 different ones. From there, i move everything to the music library by artist and subfolder for albums. Once there, i load Musicbee, which is my pc app of choice because of the customization and audio playback quality. Once there, if any album art is missing, it’s easily discoverable and then loaded into navidrome.
The hardest part was discovering that I should organize properly after a decade of collecting music, and it took months to reorganize and tag everything properly. I had to do that once more with genres. Once I figured out how to automate that and would take chunks at a time and have it do it over days, which also took months. It’s been about 10 years of me doing it this way and has worked great if not a bit tedious.

Thanks! What makes it so bad? Doesn’t run well? I would absolutely like to try it if it means no monthly payment, and it’s basically the same game. I just wanted to see it and mess around for a few hours.

I remember that as well. You absolutely needed to be in a complete party just to tackle regular areas. I saw in the notes they have been focusing on allowing single player runs work better since I’m sure finding a party is probably close to impossible these days.

I kind of want to dive in for a month just to see if I remember anything about it. I played it on PC back when it dropped in 2003, so 22 years ago. It was the first MMO I really got into and so I would love to see if I remember the world at all if I set it up today.

It’s to spray your neighbor when he decides to pick the urinal right next to yours when there were 3 others not next to you. Then it just turns into a silly water fight, and everyone has a blast.

- Comment on Gears of War: Reloaded announced, coming this summer to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4 weeks ago:
Never played the gears games except for the last one a little because I had gamepass and a PC. It was ok, but it just felt like a room after room of bullet sponge enemies, which got old fast. It will be very weird playing gears on a ps5, probably a lot like when Sonic dropped on Nintendo for the first time.

That’s not entirely true. I believe there are several people who made mods to make it playable without VR.
I will play it someday, and this will most likely be the way.

- Comment on Next gen PS and Xbox consoles scheduled for 2027, tipped by cancelled Blade Runner game 5 weeks ago:
Yes, it improved on every aspect of the ps4. Load times were non-existent, graphics upgrade was good enough, the exclusives were always great. I like a dedicated box for gaming, not that I don’t play pc games as well, it’s just easier to pick up and go on a console especiallywith rest mode…
I got it a few months after it released, which is how long it took to find one, and at the time i was deciding between building a new PC or getting a PS5 and at the time the PS5 was way cheaper due to GPUs being ridiculously priced. I thought it was a great price for what you got and it’s a solid system. I use it on average once every other day and has given me no issues.
It was a solid console in every aspect to me. My one complaint is as much as I like the controllers they suffer from stick drift and I have gone through 4 controllers so far. Same goes for every one of my friends so it’s awful.
- Comment on Next gen PS and Xbox consoles scheduled for 2027, tipped by cancelled Blade Runner game 5 weeks ago:
I know it tracks with the release of other consoles, but wow, did this one go fast… I feel like it’s barely been out, but over 6 years have passed and it will be 7 when it releases. I honestly have no idea how they can even improve much from what currently exists anyway. Almost everything I wanted was addressed in the PS5. Guess we’ll see.

I also can’t wait to play Oblivion remastered as well. I just couldn’t see picking up yet another remake/remaster over something original first. I figured the small team could benefit way more from as many sales as they could, plus I just wanted something new, haha. Can’t wait though, I haven’t played it since like 2007.

You are in for a treat if you enjoy RPGs with modern takes on an old system. I have been playing games for over 30 years and lately haven’t had the funds to buy much of anything in the past year, but I made an exception for this and it thankfully was a good as I was hoping it would be. Holding my interest is getting harder as well, but thankfully, due to this game and a few others, I am starting to realize it’s most likely because I crave something different and unique sometimes.
- Comment on More Americans are financing groceries with buy now, pay later loans — and more are paying those bills late, survey says 5 weeks ago:
I have used it a bunch over the years because I hate talking to people, but I never use delivery so I think it’s only a few extra dollars over calling it in in average, plus some places do offer “discounts” and Amazon prime allows grubhub premium for no charge which removes more fees and gives you credit for pickup orders. The discounts aren’t much but can bring it down to what it costs by phone and sometimes a little more. I used to throw a few bucks for tip, but i have decided not to do that anymore because I pickup and it’s mostly from pizza places which I wouldn’t tip if I call it in so why should I this way.
Of course, these days, I barely get takeout or go out anymore because, like the article talks about, money is too tight to reward yourself anymore…

But at the very least we can see that the same developers who worked at Ubisoft are better than they are allowed to be. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 deserves the same love that this got and features mostly Ubisoft employees (only 30 people in total) and shows the company truly hinders how good a game can be.
- Comment on Does Bravely Default 2 Suck? 5 weeks ago:
I enjoyed the 2nd, but most of the things were very cookie-cutter generic. I liked that style to an extent, but it just becomes very predictable and after a while and I wanted to just finish it by the end. Decent enough story I guess and could have been worse. Fighting was probably its best part.
