I never liked Beyonce, but now she can legitimately go fuck herself at this point.

I haven’t been to a concert in years. Prices are just too much, and then there’s this bullshit
Popnand other giant artists are the ones with insane prices. Small bands are pretty reasonable still. I go see metal concerts in LA for $20-55, usually around $30. More than it used to be sure, but it’s a bit less than $900 lol
The music industry is so fucked. Nobody will pay for a local artist’s concert or throw a tip in their jar, but we’ll throw hundreds of dollars at this bullshit.

the thing that offends me most is the price. i remember thinking £80 was a lot for a concert ticket in about 2010

She personally doesn't, but it is a rather simple case of supply and demand for everyone else involved - there are only so many that fit in the concert, as long you find enough people willing to pay $900 per ticket to sell them all, it doesn't make any financial sense to price them any lower. And if you do lower it while the market is still willing to pay significantly more, you quickly get swamped by scalpers grabbing the profit from you instead.
There is a Finnish saying that goes something like "The one that asks is not the stupid one, the one who agrees to pay is".

mine was my chemical romance, the seat wasn’t great but i had a good time. point is, $150 for just audio is shocking.
