Unfortunately that episode isn’t on a lot of platforms bc one of the other storylines involves blackface.

There’s only one way to be sure. You and your Bible study group must listen to their every single album.
Their music has a lot of religious imagery, specifically themes of the afterlife and being judged by a higher power when you die. A major album, arguably the most important album to the lore of the band, included a final track called Thy Unveiling. In this track they directly said “Truth is we follow God. We’ve always been behind him.” This was shocking to some people at the time and was a pretty big thing.

The news framed it as that, they never claimed christianity and criticize it. The Carnival is their own morality tale / spiritualism deal.
