Some record players came with an adapter you could fit over the center peg which was sized to fit 45s. As for why the holes were so big, I think it had something to do with jukebox mechanisms, since that was what they were commonly found in.

I assume you're not seeing the linked story, sometimes posts propagate without them. I'm not sure how it works on whatever instance software you're using, but at least on MBin there's a button next to the community name in the sidebar which opens the community on the instance it originates from. I'm currently backing up my NAS to Backblaze Personal by mounting the drives using Dokany. They appear as local drives and the Backblaze client accepts them for backup.

I suspect these are the best selling games which released between 2020 and 2025. For instance, Breath of the Wild has sold about 33 million copies, over 10 million more than Tears of the Kingdom but was released in 2017.
