    Then there’s ‘economics’, which is to economies as scientology is to science.

    You're romanticizing dinosaur's situation tho. Most weren't fatally hit by asteroid, but slowly perished from consequences of that hit afterwards, including worsening of air quality due to smoke and ash, different cataclysms like volcano eruptions and floods, and due to food shortage that happened due to aforementioned things.

      I dunno, I read somewhere that the whole world basically turned into an oven almost instantly. The vast majority of dinosaurs were dead on day 1.

      Thanks for pointing that out. That said, I sure wouldn’t mind being among the dinosaurs within the immediate blast radius of the impact point. Like sitting on top of a detonating thermonuclear device.
