Microsoft is knowingly participating in genocide.

Germany had IBM, Israel has Microsoft. Not seeing a difference.

You are not getting it, this is a test ground for you. Unlike with IBM.

Though this “unlike” is actually interesting, considering how popular fascism was in the USA before WWII, maybe they were intending to do the same at home, just cards lay differently.

Israel has IBM, Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta AI, and Nividia…

Israel is the scapegoat for tech giant to get tax money through military contract.

They look at 2 million in Gaza as a sandbox to make more money.

Also Europeans and the US doesn’t give a shit about brown people dying. If they did they would immediately cut ties with Israel, sanction all their companies, and refuse trade with them. And not just from recent events, for decades. But here we are ☠️.

Imagine spending all that time and money towards detecting exactly where Hamas agents are, and then shooting children in the head instead?

Also starving the entire population and then complaining the hostages are going hungry too?

Imagine thinking these are part of the same process.

These are different processes, they are using Gaza’s population as Guinea pigs or lab mice for the medicine that’s coming to you. While the murders are just for fun (and maybe to make the experiment more solid, see, we are killing them and still it works).

Normally I’d roll my eyes and move on…

But in this instance I’m going to call service provider protection. It’s not the bus companies fault if you take the bus into town to rob the bank. It shouldn’t be on my ISP to check if I torrent or not. And it’s not on Microsoft what people do with the Azure platform.

They’ve provided a service, which people have used to do bad. That doesn’t mean the service is bad.

… though it is the fediverse and this is Microsoft … so shit away on it

There’s a difference between “they rode the bus into town” and “you personally sold them a car, saw them rob a town with it, and continue to refuel and maintain that car explicitly for them to rob towns with it”

to develop a customized and segregated area within Azure that has facilitated the army’s mass surveillance project.

Keeping with the example, the bus company spun up a separate assembly line to make busses specifically designed to rob banks.

      Did you read the article?

This isn’t some random company using azure to host an app. This is Microsoft dedicating a team of engineers to write a custom version of its software to track people on behalf of a genocidal government.
