What happened to 50501? They were very active up until the parade.
I think they’re doing something last minute today.
Nothing happened to them, just everyone else is posting about other stuff or talking about other stuff that you just don’t hear about it without looking for it specifically
It’s a decent sized movement, so you’d have to look into what’s happening in your neck of the woods. Mine is planning a protest outside an ICE detention center this week

Pretty sure they murdered a guy and framed a leftist then distanced themselves from the while incident.
There’s more protests coming, whether or not they do anything meaningful with their numbers has yet to be seen.
You see, USAID shut down so their funding dried up. You should look into some of the shit they were funding, it’s ridiculous.
I honestly think it’s a good sign for the development of Lemmy to read guys like these!
Maybe it’s good for them to read us, I’m not sure about the good of me reading them…
But yeah it shows lemmy is growing for sure.

They’re still active. They’re organizing a “Good Trouble” protest (as a nod to John Lewis) on July 17 across the country. I think what’s happening is that the media has stopped talking about 50501 (gee, I wonder why they would do that?), but the protests are definitely still happening.
