  My issue was needing them when they didn’t have a charge or had low charge, and not being able to charge them while using them.

  I don’t know yet. I’ll get a new phone when this one dies. The point is that I used to buy iPhones as default, and that is no longer the case. I wonder how many customers they lost like me - theoretically I could have been a life long customer.

  I was actually looking at foldable phones a few weeks back, seems like 2 screens isn’t enough to make a difference, but 3 screens are. It’s either I get that or a foldable 1 screen phone (like a flip phone).

  On another note, after Tim apple bribed Trump with a gold ball I’ve decided to no longer buy apple products again. And it’s kind of a big deal because I’ve had iPhones since 2008.

  Personally I think the winning language is the language that’s most spoken in the country you both live in. I have been the family translator since I was 6 and I’m exhausted. My parents speak English but they don’t always get things and they’re insecure about it so they’ve always relied on me to translate. Throughout my life we’ve always had weird arguments because we don’t understand each other.

  I think a part of that is being attached to things, to material possessions, to experiences. There’s nothing wrong with it of course, we are in charge of creating our own meaning, but attachment influences behavior and decreases our options.

  By slowing down. Downsizing. Simplifying. Changing the environment. Maybe therapy. Maybe a support group. Maybe cutting your salary by 25%. But it sounds like you have a kid, so your options are limited - I wouldn’t recommend alcohol, gambling etc.

  Not at all. As babies they were the first people we tried bonding with and that connection doesn’t fade away. That innate feeling competes with hatred if they’re bad/abusive people.
