It’s a lack of strategy, and not being able to overcome the obstacle. It stinks.

I’m one of those people… I get overwhelmed with information and freeze. ChatGPT moves me out of the freeze stress response. I’m excellent at qa and following instruction, but awful at organization. My progress has drastically improved because I delegate my weaknesses. I do hope that I can continue using this tool to help me.
- Comment on YouTube Tests Showing Ads When You Pause a Video, Calls it ''Pause Ads'' 3 weeks ago:
Eh, it depends on your lifestyle and age. I’m a minimalist and I know exactly what I like and need. An ad isn’t going to convince me to buy anything.

The shipping time never bothered me. If I need something urgent I’ll go to the store and get it. Otherwise a week or 2 won’t make a difference.

Those who want porn will get it. It’s a need, like alcohol and tobacco. It being illegal will make teens even more interested.

This is much easier that actual self reflection
tbh self reflection can be very challenging. very scary. it can trigger an identity crisis and not everyone is mentally able to deal with it.

best of all, this strategy isn’t going to decrease viewership, probably increase it. it’s also going to increase the usage of vpn’s.

Reminds me of Elizabeth Holmes. She really really believed it would be built. She just needed more time and money. Sometimes it’s a challenge to accept a failure, and move on.
- Comment on Grandfathered YouTube Premium users will see price increase in January 5 months ago:
I had no idea how expensive that was. I wonder when prices will max out. $23 is waaaay too much for YT.
- Comment on YouTube warns it might make your viewing experience worse if you don't turn off your ad-blocker 5 months ago:
Having a blank screen will make me less angry than seeing a long advertisement. Not to mention, I come from the days of dial up. I can wait a bit until I view the video.

- Comment on After luring customers with low prices, Amazon stuffs Fire TVs with ads 6 months ago:
I concur. The problem isn’t the ads themselves, but ads in a capitalist society, where profit has no ceiling and neither do the amount of ads.

that’s the funny part. i also didn’t mind ads once in a while, but when i started looking for a YT solution i not only found one but i also found sponsorblock. i didn’t know of it before the YT bs. now i just don’t see ads at all. thanks YT!

the most interesting thing about this is the fact that “removed” is blurred out, but not “gay ass queer”. times have changed and i feel so fucking old.

that’s a new card. i haven’t looked over options in a while. do the categories change quarterly?

Wow. That many! I have half of that.

Have several credit cards for each category, and use the same checking account to autopay for all. View credit card statements for breakouts and ytd expenditure.

i’ve gravitated to long form interviews, 8+ hours has nothing on me. i listen to them when i go to sleep or watch art videos.
- Comment on YouTube's ‘War’ on Adblockers Shows How Google Controls the Internet 6 months ago:
i also have always used adblockers, but once i had to put in effort circumventing YT ads earlier this year, i discovered sponsorblock and added it. kind of funny that had it not been for YT being an ass, i would have been fine with other kind of ads.

they don’t. striving for perfection is the first step to failure.

while i agree that perfection doesn’t exist, i disagree to be happy with what you got. you can make improvements without seeking perfection.

my favourite is the one that shows 2 people at the park with a stroller, arguing about which one of them needs to go to therapy, and the baby in the stroller thinks that they’ll be the one to go to therapy since neither parent will.
