My headcannon for a lot of those things is that it’s really hard to retcon earlier made statements and actions, so some times He can’t go with the sensible approach in order to get around it.

Some games require more than just the files on disk, at least with older games, they set some properties in the registry or some such. How gog or heroic get around it I don’t know, but ah actual installer is guaranteed to give the same result every time.
For most people with stable internet and using the launcher this isn’t really an issue, but I imagine someone rural, on the ISS, part of the Atlantis expedition, or what have you, would enjoy to have a surefire way of getting their heroes 3 up and running
Not a use case for everyone, but for some it’s invaluable.

Yeah, but good luck reinstalling it on your next computer. Having the installer ensures easy installation in various future scenarios.

I had no idea who this Jason fellow was prior to this, but that list is essentially made up of games i either have either played, are planning to play, or were unsure about giving a shot. Much more confident in bumping the uncertain ones onto my wishlist now, seems we have similar tastes in games.

The amount of times I’ve had to use a trainer to make gameplay possible when my hand is acting up (and one time when I was cat sitting, and the goblin demanded a hand just for him) is enormous.
It is literally the difference between being able to play a game or not. I really appreciate the options being under accessibility in never games!
This goes for single player though. Multiplayer is reserved for days when my hand is functioning enough to allow it without trainer assistance.

In Norway you could make good money as an antenna port removal person, essentially filling it with solder or some such, and making paperwork confirming it had been done.
If you had that piece of paper you didn’t have to post licensing fees, as it was tied to the antenna port, funnily enough most everyone with a top box used the scart for television, so it didn’t really make a difference.

I have an electric cutter with a set length and just run it through my hair about once a week at the same time I’m doing my beard.
My scalp gets really itchy if my hair is too long and doing it weekly means it takes no time at all.

I get really surprised going through my up- and downvotes. Seems sausage fingers and mobile app leads to interesting votes sprinkled in with the ones I’ve actually voted for.
Pretty neat layer of obfuscation, though I can’t imagine being interesting or infuriating enough for anyone to go through my voting history.
If it were to happen, I hope it’s because of some shitpost of epic proportions though.
