I mean the demo capability isnt bad, could test out 100 ideas before you commit. But thats not what this is going to be used for. Its going to be a weapon against developers eventually.

Humans climbed to the top of the food chain by throwing rocks and that was before gods. Everything was stoned to death by atheists in the day.

I’m glad to see people down voting AI generated ghibli stuff. But read the article.

This isnt really on topic but what we wanted was a more realistic Sea of Thieves and Skull and Bones was like ship arena battles, it was bad.
- Comment on New modelling reveals full impact of Trump’s ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs – with the US hit hardest 3 days ago:
Thats probably a definite unless China is willing to absorb the cost for whatever reason. They seem to be in a generous mood (relatively, terms and conditions apply) ever since Trump soured the world to the US.
- Comment on New modelling reveals full impact of Trump’s ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs – with the US hit hardest 3 days ago:
Maybe they already had some sort of tariff? Maybe it modifies the existing trade deal somehow? Idk I’m not an economist just a peasant.

Can’t be hit when you aren’t even trading. They’ll probably see video games vet more expensive on Steam

- Comment on ghibli posting 6 days ago:
I kinda came here to say this. It really doesnt feel right doing that to Miyazaki after all the passion he put into the world. This is a slap to the face no matter the context. It is against his every wish.
- Comment on Despite constitutional limit, Trump says he's seeking a way to serve 3rd presidential term 6 days ago:
Except he’d have to be Speaker of the House not VP. He can’t be VP after this term according to the Constitution.
- Comment on OpenAI's move to allow generating "Ghibly stlye" images isn't just a cute PR stunt. It is an expression of dominance and the will to reject and refuse democratic values. It is a display of power 1 week ago:
We as the people of the united States have to do something. If you aren’t part of a movement yet join one, anyone, most of them are communicating with each other at this point.

This is what happens when your government loves business more than people. Do not feed the corporations. They will do this to you too.
- Comment on Are there democratic countries whose democratic institutions survived an auto-coup attempt? 1 week ago:
Historically? Never, the ones that appear to survive are stripped and repurposed for something nefarious.
- Comment on What phones are the government people using that are supposedly secure enough to discuss war plans? iPhone? Android? Some special custom-made phone specifically for the government? 1 week ago:
This administration is using off the shelf iPhones.
Usually you get a secure phone (regular brand) thats enrolled in the government’s MDM. Which I imagine has special images and phat protections.

- Comment on What are some old games that are hard to revisit, because a more modern and superior version exists? 1 week ago:
I haven’t been on Space Station 13 since Space Station 14 came out. The controls are just actually intuitive and BYOND is dead in the water.
