I don’t want to fact check this. Is this true? Is this what all the memes were about yesterday?!
There is a line in an email that refers to “trump blowing bubba”.
It’s not clear who “bubba” is, but it’s one of Clinton’s nicknames.
More importantly though, it’s not clear that the line is intended to be taken seriously. Obviously a lot of people want it to be true though.
I mean, you’re at a party and you get drunk and high and pull dumb stunts with your friends, someone snaps a photo of it. I doubt he actually sucked someone off, but there’s definitely a photo of him looking like he did, for comedic effect.
Because, he’s a pedophile, he don’t do old men and horses, only young children pissing in his mouth.
The line is about Putin having pictures of Donnie blowing Bubba which implies Russian blackmail.
Yes, Donnie is Trump and Bubba is Clinton and it is possible that is is just dark humor but if so their delivery sucks.

How are you to assess their delivery? You’re not (presumably) their friend. The fact that it doesn’t come of as humorous to an external reader shouldn’t be a surprise - or shall we analyse some of your texts without context :P
Someone else put forward the completely plausible scenario of a photo of Trump in a position where it kind of looks like he’s sucking off Clinton, which became an in-joke. Is that so unbelievable to you?
This is a case of those opposed to trump being completely credulous because it suits their beliefs, and noone would be taking it seriously if it were someone more aligned with them - which in that case would be very reasonable.
It’s honestly making American liberals look as stupid as MAGA/QAnon dipshits. In no kind of reality did Donald Trump blow Bill Clinton and it’s so ridiculous that of all the things in the emails THIS is what the supposedly more sensible and intelligent left has decided to waste its energy on.

I agree, I really don’t like people saying it was Bill Clinton, there is currently only evidence against that claim. But your second statement seems disingenuous, as there isn’t any sign that it was purely a joke, either. A better way to say your second line without showing a bias would be to say that “There is no evidence to show whether or not it was a joke, or to be taken seriously.” To be clear, the quote from Mark Epstein was “For the avoidance of doubt, the reference to ‘Bubba’ in this correspondence is not, in any way, a reference to former President Bill Clinton. Any attempt to conflate that reference with President Clinton, or to read sweeping implications into them, misrepresents both the purpose and the tone of the original correspondence.”
There are a few ways to read this response, one being that it was all a joke, one being that it did happen and Bill Clinton wasn’t involved, and Putin doesn’t have the picture, and one being that it did happen, Bill Clinton wasn’t involved, and Putin does have the pictures. Without further clarification, we don’t know for certain which of these is the truth.
I do appreciate your desire to keep the facts straight.I know that it’s fun to jump to conclusions and speculate, but we are doing the credibility of anyone left of republicans a disservice when we spread lies. It makes it much easier for the Rupublicans at the top to spin a narritive that their followers can dismiss the things we say. I hate Trump as much as the next guy, but he does enough stuff to paint himself a hypocrite that there’s no need to embellish the truth.
I think the evidence against it being intended seriously is that Trump is an apparently straight man. Now, there’s a lot of reasons an apparently straight man would suck off a dude, so it’s far from impossible, but: the vast majority of apparently straight men are actually straight, and the vast majority of straight men would prefer not to have oral sex with a man, so I think this does count as evidence against it being literally true.
There’s a particular online discourse that sees Trump and MAGA as not merely being a bit hypocritical, but as being extremely hypocritical - a strand which believes that every Republican expressing homophobia as being closeted. So I think while people understand on one level that it’s not reasonable to think that some random guy who professed to be straight actually sucked off another guy on the basis of an email from someone shady, when the guy is not random but the leader of MAGA, those people instead leap on it because it fits with that hypocrisy narrative.
You’re absolutely right that we don’t know which of the possibilities is true, but I said what I did because it seems like a lot of people are just taking it at face value, which doesn’t seem smart.
Eh, I haven’t seen any evidence that Trump is straight. Evidence that he’s definitely not gay, sure, but no real evidence of straightness. Sure, he’s in a heterosexual marriage, but so is my wife and she’s bi, so that’s not much to go off of. He seems to pass legislation that harms the wellbeing of lgbtq folks, but it’s not uncommon for people in power to show disdain for lgbtq people while being one themselves. It’s also not uncommon for folks to experiment with their sexuality in their early adult years, even if he isn’t bi, that doesn’t take blowing someone completely off the table.
The long and short of it is that I haven’t seen anything that would make me think Trump wouldn’t have blown some guy. It’s not hard to believe that he were willing to blow a guy, especially if it were a one-off thing he was trying in the spur of the moment at an Epstein sex party. It’s honestly a toss-up, and to act like it’s more or less likely to have gone one way or the other seems foolhardy here.
Also, do you have links to anywhere that Trump has professed to being straight? I couldn’t find any personally, but if you have them then that would make it more likely this email was just a joke. But if you don’t have them I can’t help but feel you are doing the exact thing you claim to be against: spreading misinformation.
