God we have trouble enough with Toronto thinking it’s the centre of the world and ignoring BC. We’d have zero influence in Cascadia.

Quite a few of the folks I know consider BC just as big / important a part of the PNW as Bellingham, Seattle, Olympia, Portland, Salem, Eugene, etc.

Technically, only a small section of California is part of the Cascadian region. But so is most of Idaho… And I think just about everybody would be happier if we made that trade.
