Then you had bands like SOAD, who released an album titled “STEAL THIS ALBUM!”
Some music stores put their own stickers on the cd cases saying things like, “please don’t”, it was a great time. - Comment on Is Google about to destroy the web? 2 weeks ago:
BBC has been ramping up the scare mongering lately. I mean, moreso than usual. Maybe I’m just noticing it more though.

Probably for the experiences. The sort of things kids do in these schools seem more lavish, I mean, as much as I enjoyed my school trip to a farm I’m not sure if that’s the sort of thing they’d consider. Although David Cameron did shag a pig, so not sure if that’s true for all of those schools.

- Comment on YouTube's new ad strategy is bound to upset users: YouTube Peak Points utilise Gemini to identify moments where users will be most engaged, so advertisers can place ads at the point. 1 month ago:
You’re right in that you’d have to install an APK, from outside of the Play Store, however if you’re aware of the right sources of the right apps your security should be fine (you can disable the ability to install apps from unknown sources after you’ve got the YouTube alternative app, without affecting it, if you’re worried about that).
There are a few steps, which are usually straight forward, listed here: github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube
If you follow that link it should have further links for an installation tutorial (they also link a YouTube tutorial to make things easier).
If you do go down that route, it’s a much more pleasant experience imho. No ads, Sponsorblock for in-video ad segments, complete control over quality of video, audio, options to manually force specific codecs, etc.

Do you have the option to install Android apps onto your TV? Or if it has another OS with the option?
- Comment on 'End of 10' to Windows 10 Users: The Environment Wants You to Use Linux 1 month ago:
I did an upgrade, instead of a clean install, to the same version. I just had to reinstall my graphics driver and everything works as before, I just went through another step to remove some programs and it’s been smooth sailing since.
Massgrave.dev provided what I needed. Was a breeze.

I used to really love point and clicks, in the style that yours seems to be, and I really missed them.
I honestly could not add this to my wishlist any faster. I wish you the best of luck with the release!

You may be onto something. If we take away HL: Lost Coast, and both HL: Deathmatch versions, there are 9 titles.
With the rumoured title code named HL:X it makes me wonder how they’re going to announce it (granted these rumours are true). - Comment on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hits 500k sales in one day 2 months ago:
Ah fuck. Sorry man, I hope someone can figure it out. It’s a very new game, so hopefully more people take enough notice for a fix to be implemented.
Otherwise, I found an article which seems to allude to advanced volume settings to ‘normalise audio’, on an Xbox, in a similar way: support.xbox.com/…/choosing-speaker-audio-output
If you’re using a Playstation, it may be worth digging around in your system settings. Sometimes the option is referred to as ‘equalise’, ‘dynamic range’, etc.
Hope this helps!

- Comment on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hits 500k sales in one day 2 months ago:
I installed the game myself and had a look, unfortunately you’re right. My speakers are decent with hearing everything, however I can definitely notice the vocals being considerably lower than the music and such.
There is a way to normalise audio levels from within Windows sound settings, you just have to remember to revert once you’re done playing.
This seems to be a good article about it: pureinfotech.com/normalize-sound-volume-windows-1…It’s a workaround, but it should help with the game and anything else you’d have this issue with. If you’re using Linux, unfortunately I can’t help. Good luck!
- Comment on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 hits 500k sales in one day 2 months ago:
This sounds like the issue I had a good while ago, before realising something I was using was trying to output as surround sound, whereas I only had stereo speakers (so some sounds seemed normal, some incredibly low).
Just thought of giving that a mention. It may be worth having a look in your game settings, if there is an option to output as Stereo.

My word, I remember playing this when I was a teenager (and I’m in my mid-30s now).
I remember doing all those trick movements, the slash and dash, wall climbs, weapon switching for quick dash etc.
Then several months into playing, I found out people were using macros for those instead of… Pressing all the keys manually…
My hands hurt so much until that discovery. - Comment on Most people in the workforce today have never had to answer the question "Smoking or nonsmoking?" 2 months ago:
When I was a kid, I went on a plane with my mum and we had to walk through a smoking section at one point (we were in the non smoking part).
It was a memory I wouldn’t forget, not that it was anything spectacular though it smelt rather bad. Ironic since I mix tobacco with my weed now a fair bit (unless I’m vapourising).
Now it just surprises me that smoking was ever allowed inside aircrafts. Absolutely mad times we have come from.

- Comment on Microsoft is reportedly killing Skype 3 months ago:
I remember when Skype first came out, when I was a teenager. I called a random guy in Japan; he was learning English, I wanted to learn Japanese (as is tradition for teenage anime fans). It was a very kind series of calls, and we talked a bit about Japanese culture too. He taught me, rather patiently, how to pronounce certain basic words properly.
It’s a shame the server was treated like it has been. There was great potential in connecting people.Wherever you are, random Japanese dude I forgot the name of, konbanwa!!

I thought that’s what the question was asking about? I’m confused.
- Comment on What would happen if I took a thc gummy as a suppository? 4 months ago:
You’d get medicinal qualities, and a body relaxation, however you wouldn’t get a cerebral high as the THC is not processed in a way that would allow it (when used anally).

I’ve got an old Kindle, but not too old, which I jailbroke just yesterday with Winter break. I recommend that method for those considering getting drm free usage out of their device (instead of it contributing to ewaste).
