That would be such an underwhelming experience opening it and just seeing the switch.
- Comment on Meta’s going to revive an old nuclear power plant 1 day ago:
And when they ultimately fail causing massive issues…will he and the entire company be allowed to walk away free and clear…
Cause they already do when it comes to disasters caused by oil etc…

Why run from the broken public? Not like they ever knew
- Comment on ‘We tried and it didn’t work out’: CDPR co-founder says it shouldn’t stray from AAA open-world RPGs 3 days ago:
Funny because I stray away from anything that associates itself with AAA

Then continue being treated like a piece of shit. Honestly nobody really cares that you want to play advertising and paywall games, just don’t complain about how much you have to pay just to get access to everything that’s already in game the game.
- Comment on Broadcom’s VMware Financial Model Is ‘Ethically Flawed’: European Report 4 days ago:
I have like 4 clients that didn’t want to abandon VMware when Broadcom showed up.
I’ve spoken with 20+ people who all claimed to be their account reps. I have no account rep and don’t know who at Broadcom is accountable for their licensing anymore. The privi g has also gone from like 400 for the year, to thousands. No changes that I’m aware of either other then a confusing mess of a company that I hate even thinking about let alone have to deal with.

I can’t even trust microshit to let me plug a monitor in with their crap thinking it’s a fucking speaker and changing all my defaults…
Nothing good will come from this lol
- Comment on Discord unveils Discord Orbs, a new in-app currency that users can earn by completing Quests, which reward participants who interact with ads 1 week ago:
I close every popup, ad, and whatnot. Read nothing, join my voice channel and talk with friends.
Discord has no features imo but voice and text. Everything else is useless and not needed. I will never give them a dime. No point.

Shareholders need some extra funds, your 12 meta zuck bucks are being reduced to 8 now. And if you don’t use them by 4pm they will be absorbed into the metaverse due to inactivity.

I wish lol, I loved hanging the receiver from the cable to untangle this mess
- Comment on Having to manage cables is a very 80s thing that we still have to do in 2025. 1 week ago:
I hate devices that I can’t plug in and leave plugged in. Nothing but useless trash that I know will ultimately fail and need to be replaced, instead of easily repairing with a new pile of copper strands.
Cables or bust. I don’t even use wifi as my main Internet. Much prefer wired Ethernet for stability and extra security.

Forcing people to use them…FORCING YOU TO USE ZUCKBUCKS.

I’m so confused by what you’re trying to say here.

I call em full version demos. Specifically because I buy when it’s good. The 2 hour steam thing sometimes, just isn’t enough to really know. It usually is tho.
- Comment on The USA spends $15k/student annually which is 30% higher than the global median. Why do U.S. schools have "fundraisers" where kids are incentivized to sell stuff to people? 1 week ago:
Not American, and I have no factual answer but I assume it’s because the people at the top just take all the money and leave the schools to fend for themselves. Typical corporate nonsense.
- Comment on You can now use authenticator apps to keep your GOG account secure 2 weeks ago:
Down voting security apps of choice is a weird decision…would you rather them tell you do download yet another program, and create new passwords and crap to add more security?
- Comment on GOG add support for authenticator apps for two-factor authentication (2FA) 2 weeks ago:
It’s nice when companies implement 2fa and don’t make me use their forced application, or have it tied to a cellphone number where you can’t use the service if you don’t have your cellphone readily available (ie…my bank with their mandatory and proprietary sms verification where you can’t access your financials without having a cellphone number.)
