- Comment on YouTube is finally cracking down on third-party apps that enable ad-blocking 4 weeks ago:
unless PeerTube finds a way to pay content creators
Google is a for-profit organization. Framasoft, which developed PeerTube, is a non-profit one. The only way to pay content creators is when people donate money to PeerTube and then PeerTube share that money with creators. Which is also difficult because there are no trackers to know internally who has more subscribers or which video has more views, etc.

And some governments, like Germany and The Netherlands.
- Comment on Putin pained by Moscow attack, even if not visible 1 month ago:
He's pained because it wasn't his idea. But hey, next time don't try to vanish other sovereign countries and their population, and focus on your own.

I was about to left Lemmy/Kbin for good when some stupid tankies from Lemmy(grad).ml called me names and harassed me, despite the fact that I'm neurodivergent (like that would stop them from doing such actions, but anyway). And then I started blocking every community and user from those places, as well as any community/magazine about US politics or about any US topic because I don't give a damn heck about that place. And my experience improved really well.

I upload there daily since 5 days ago. And before that, the last time I uploaded something there, as well as on youtube, was 3 months ago.

“Nație” also exists, although it's dated.
- Comment on Seen in my language, immediately felt the urge to find the English equivalent. 6 months ago:
Understandable, because both "natio" and "imaginatio" exist in Latin, and both words are used almost with no differences in many other languages.
- Comment on Black holes could come in 'perfect pairs' in an ever expanding universe 6 months ago:
Researchers from the University of Southampton, together with colleagues from the universities of Cambridge and Barcelona, have shown it's theoretically possible for black holes to exist in perfectly balanced pairs—held in equilibrium by a cosmological force—mimicking a single black hole.
Thanos would be very proud.
- Comment on Lemmy.world removes its rules against discrimination 6 months ago:
The federal government sets the bare minimum protections for people in United States, not in other countries of the world. And internet covers the entire world, not only United States. That's how I see it.

- Comment on Youtube's Anti-adblock is illegal in the EU 6 months ago:
It works for me too, until I reach my limit of 3 daily videos, when I cannot watch more videos until the next day, whether ublock or not.
- Comment on YouTube cracking on ad blockers. 6 months ago:
I just wanted to say that uBlock works in removing the annoying warning. But it doesn't prevent youtube from blocking your access to videos. I'm right now in the situation that I can't watch any video until tomorrow, despite uBlock and stuff.

I don't notice any substantial difference between the original voice and this new one. Great job!
But I can't watch the new episodes because Max is not available in Europe yet. Unless they release them on HBO Max.

Specially politics. Even meme communities are becoming a politics cesspool, at least that meme community of lemmy.ml, or 196 of lemmy.blahaj.zone (in a lesser way, but still), or gaming communities. Damn, do I have to block every single community of every single instance to really enjoy lemmy/kbin without being bombarded 24 hours with politics?
- Comment on [deleted] 8 months ago:
How can we make it more popular?
Defederating tankies, nazis, fascists, bigots and other awful elements; forcing moderators and administrators to do their job when bad behaviours occur, and respectfully disagree with other people instead of calling them names or mocking them.
